Just before Samsung hopes to surprise the world with a new smartphone, its arch nemesis Apple pulls a fast one with something old…
But with a shiny new coat of paint.
Apple kept it low key, announcing the special edition Product (RED) iPhone 7 and 7 Plus only on its website today.
Features stay the same, but storage capacity now starts at a whopping 128GB for this model, just like the shiny Jet Black iPhone announced last September.
Pricing remains the same with 128GB and 256GB models retailing for $749 and $859 (before taxes), respectively.
The best part, if you decide to buy one, is that a portion of your purchase goes to the HIV / AIDS global fund.
The Cupertino-based company has long been a supporter of Product (RED) and has produced a wide range of red devices and accessories.
But this is the first time the iPhone is as red as an apple.
