I am a 28 year old girl living in 2017.
I am unattached but unfazed. In true millennial fashion, my interests include: finding the next big adventure, the politics of gender equality, social media, it’s implications, and framing the perfect Instagram photo.
Pokemon players rejoice!
The world of Pokemon is getting better and bigger.
Pokemon Gen 2 has just rolled out in the Philippines! According to Niantic, this means new and undiscovered Pokemon, new evolutions, and even new avatars plus an expanded wardrobe.
To catch them is the real test
Here at GadgetMatch, we take catching them all very seriously. So, you can imagine our reactions when this announcement was made. This morning, our collective excitement was met with these glorious blacked out silhouettes:
Oh the new Pokemon possibilities!
So many new Pokemon, so little time!
A quick walk confirmed that there were definitely new Pokemon for the taking. Among those we’ve discovered were Sentret, Chikorita, and Aipom.
Let’s get to work!
We’ve also spotted a Snubbul and a Totodile (but we were too busy throwing Pokeballs, we forgot to screenshot).
Now, excuse me as I try to make a PokeMaster out of myself.
All the single ladies, put your hands up!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and instead of crafting a gift guide for legitimate lovers (of which there are many), I’ve decided to come up with a handy list of things you can get that boy you’re only sort of, kind of seeing on and off for a few months now. (Ah, the wonders of millennial dating!)
The tech tragedy of the 21st century aren’t exploding smartphones or those weird zen lawn cases; it’s the inescapable reality that after years and years of trying to make mobile phones smaller, the trend is now towards making smartphones bigger! All this is a disappointment to me and my small, dainty hands.
New Year celebrations have come and gone, my dear millennials, and with that comes fitness resolutions which (historically) don’t even last as long as Kim Kardashian’s social media hiatus (Yes, Kim K. is back on Instagram and maybe it’s time you up your selfie game, too).
Make this year different. Drop that phone and go outside to exercise; lose those unwanted pounds and finally work on those dream abs. In 2017, the only thing you should be gaining are likes on your latest #Fitspiration IG posts!
Any self-respecting millennial knows that a good selfie can get you places. It’s the best social media tool for your well-curated life on Instagram and Snapchat — just ask Kim Kardashian West, queen of social media, who took it upon herself to raise awareness on the art of illuminated selfies. Enter: the LuMee case.
