Our collective jaws dropped ever since the first trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ dropped. Plenty of characters have already been revealed, but we’re hoping they still have room for more.
In case you were wondering, here’s every character revealed so far:
That’s Goku (Normal, SSJ, SSJ3), Vegeta (Normal, SSJ), Gohan (Teen and Adult), Piccolo, Frieza (100 percent with Golden transformation), Good Buu (Majin Buu), Perfect Cell, Trunks (SSJ Future), Gotenks (SSJ3), Super Saiyan Blue Goku, Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, Android 16, Buu (Kid Buu), Krillin, Nappa, Yamcha, Tenshinhan with Chaozu Assists, Ginyu with Ginyu Force Assists, Android 18 with Android 17 Assists, and Android 21.
If we had our own Dragon Balls, we would summon Shenron and wish these following characters would also be playable in the game.
Goten and Kid Trunks
Sure, we already have Gotenks, but it would still be amazing if we could use these little Saiyans separately. It’s not like they’re pushovers. They’re literally the two youngest to turn into Super Saiyans. That’s gotta count for something.
If you haven’t been following Dragon Ball Super — the continuation of the Dragon Ball Z series — then you probably don’t know who Hit is. He’s an assassin from Universe 6 and is easily their best fighter.
He also has an interesting ability called time-skip wherein he’s able to skip time for a tenth of a second and move freely. An especially useful skill for an assassin.
If we can have Gotenks, why can’t we have Vegito? He’s easily one of the most powerful characters since he’s the result of the Potara fusion between Goku and Vegeta. He first appeared in Dragon Ball Z as a last ditch effort to stop Buu, who at the time had absorbed Ultimate/Mystic Gohan.
He also made an appearance in the continuation of the Future Trunks Saga in Dragon Ball Super.
Since we’re in the topic of the Future Trunks Saga, why not bring in Future Gohan, too? Yes, he’s technically dead and power levels-wise, he’s probably weaker than the two already playable Gohans (Teen and Adult), but he’s also arguably the one that looks most like a warrior.
Bandai Namco can even give us the version where he’s already lost his arm to add to the badassery.
Two words: Legendary. Saiyan. He’s not canon, but he’s the most memorable character out of all the Dragon Ball Z movies. Broly is insanely strong and has an imposing presence. Hearing him say “Kakarot” every time he goes to battle should strike fear in the heart of his opponent.
