Managing multiple Instagram accounts from one smartphone?

The struggle is real, and we feel you. And apparently so does Instagram.

This week, the company is rolling out a new update allowing users to add up to 5 different accounts and making it possible to switch between profiles from within the app.

To get started make sure you update to version 7.15, available on both Android and iOS.

Go into Settings, scroll down all the way, then Add Account. Enter your username and password and tap Login. Once you’ve added a second  account, an icon will appear on the lower right hand side of the app so that you can easily identify which account you’re currently on.

From your profile page you can then tap on your name to bring up the account switcher. The interface looks slightly different on iOS and Android but functions the same way. For the account switcher you can then add additional accounts.
