Miss the smaller iPhone of yesteryears?
Well, you might just be able to get one soon. Apple is prepping to unveil a new, smaller iPhone on March 15th, or is at least, breathing life into an older model.
Dubbed the iPhone 5SE, this new, old 4-inch iPhone is basically an updated version of 2013’s iPhone 5S (not a smaller version of the current iPhone 6) but with 2016’s technology, including the processor and camera of the iPhone 6.
9to5Mac reports the phone will initially hit retail stores by March 18th and will come in the usual colors – space gray, silver, gold and pink (rose gold). There’s no word on pricing yet, but this new entry-level model should be at least $100 cheaper than the iPhone 6.
Apple is also scheduled to update its 9.7-inch iPad. The iPad Air 3 will come with a new Smart Connector that will bring support to a range of accessories, think keyboard case like its larger sibling the iPad Pro. The new iPad will also come with updated internals, and possibly a rear flash, because hey, taking photos with a huge ass tablet is not weird at all.
