We know all about OPPO’s F and R series of smartphones by now, but where has the A series been hiding?

A recent entry in OPPO’s A lineup has just been launched in the Philippines, and it’s just as capable as its more popular siblings. The entry-level A57 is equipped with 16-megapixel front and 13-megapixel rear cameras.

Other feature highlights include a selfie beautification mode, software bokeh capability, a fingerprint scanner, and a triple-slot tray which accepts two SIM cards and one microSD card.

The A57 has a battery capacity of 2900mAh and is powered by a Snapdragon 435 processor. It runs on ColorOS 3.0 on top of Android.

The OPPO A57 comes in gold and black and will be available in the Philippines starting June 16 for PhP 11,990. It retails in India for INR 14,990 and in China at CNY 1,599.
