Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Ready to assume the mantle of Na’vi? Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is now available on Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and PC via Ubisoft Connect.

Developed in collaboration with James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney, the first-person standalone adventure takes place on the same timeline as the Avatar film series.

Players get to explore never-before-seen parts of Pandora, an area that was very much highlighted in the sequel Avatar: The Way of Water, and begin the journey to become a Na’vi.

Honing the Na’vi senses

Much like the narrative in the two movies, the game features the militaristic RDA corporation that is stripping Pandora off resources from its land and inhabitants.

To become one with the Na’vi, players must explore the Western Frontier, a new continent that is an extension of the Avatar universe.

Here, they must navigate the open world and upgrade their skills to be able to wield weapons like the traditional Na’vi bow and spear-thrower. Developing a bond with a banshee allows for a powerful aerial combat ally.

Players can customize their character with options including different body types and voices. As their journeys to stopping the RDA unfold, they will be able to equip more gear, craft better weapons, and upgrade more skills fit to their playstyles. Even the banshee can be customized with unique pieces.

Perks, bonuses

PlayStation players will have free access to the Aranahe Warrior Pack. Season Pass owners will also have a bonus quest available at launch, and two-story packs that will be available in 2024 for players who want to continue their adventures on Pandora.

Meanwhile, players can access The Ultimate Edition through Ubisoft+. This edition includes the season pass, digital artbook, the Sarentu Heritage cosmetic pack, and the Sarentu Hunter equipment pack.
