Genshin Impact 4.7: New characters, challenge domain, higher resin
Plus a preview of Natlan
The Version 4.7 update for Genshin Impact (An Everlasting Dream Intertwined) is dropping on June 5, 2024. The latest update features three new playable characters and a new challenge domain. Furthermore, more to Khaenri’ah will be uncovered as the twin Travelers and Dainsleif meet once again.
New challenge domain
Starting July 1st, a fresh monthly-reset challenge domain called “Imaginarium Theater” will emerge in a hidden chamber within Mondstadt Library. Meanwhile, the Spiral Abyss will shift to a monthly update cycle on the 16th of each month.
Imaginarium Theater offers combat challenges of multiple difficulty levels. Yet, it only allows characters of designated elements (and a few exceptions) to participate. Moreover, there is also a limit on the number of times they can fight.
During the challenge, players will receive plenty of buffs and debuffs. They will be able to gradually assemble and adjust team builds from the characters they own, the initial lineup of designated characters preset by the domain, and friends’ Supporting Cast characters.
The Imaginarium Theater will reward its champions with up to 620 Primogems a month. There will also be a series of new photo poses and new bonuses for first-time completion, as well as Fantastical Blessings. The total amount of Primogem rewards from Spiral Abyss Floors 9 to 12, meanwhile, will be increased to 800.
Three more characters
Version 4.7 also sees the debut of three more playable characters: Clorinde, Sigewinne, and Sethos. The first two are Fontanians who can utilize the Bond of Life mechanic in different ways.
Clorinde is a five-star Electro sword wielder. When in a “Night Vigil” state, she can alternate between different attack styles. She can use piercing pistolet attacks to accumulate Bond of Life. She may also use a powerful lunging sword attack to clear her Bond of Life and restore HP. Healing effects she receives under the Night Vigil state will be added to her Bond of Life as well.
On the other hand, Sigewinne is another five-star who is the head nurse of the Fortress of Meropide. She uses the Bond of Life to help teammates. Her healing will be increased based on the total Bond of Life values across all the characters in her party. In combat, she can fire a giant bouncing bubble to trap and attack nearby enemies. This bubble can also heal and buff her team.
Lastly, Sethos is a four-star archer who can fire piercing Electro arrows in combat. Particularly, his Charge Level 2 attack fires a formidable piercing shot. Moreover, he can initiate a ritual with his Elemental Skill, consuming Elemental Energy to shorten the charging time then restoring it whenever his attacks trigger any type of Electro-related Elemental Reaction. Lastly, his Elemental Burst can also fire consecutive bolts.
New mini-game
Also, there is a new tower defense mini-game called “Mutual Security Enhancing Simulation.” This allows players to deploy their own monster troops in offensive or defensive games.
Higher resin
Lastly, the Original Resin cap will be increased from 160 to 200. This will give players an enhanced daily gaming experience, where they will be able to get more resources to claim rewards and upgrade accordingly.
Natlan preview
In addition to Genshin Impact Version 4.7, HoYoverse also dropped a one-minute teaser of Natlan. This all-new nation will arrive on the action RPG later this year.
For now, here’s the trailer for Genshin Impact’s latest update:

Call of Duty, Aston Martin unveil Dreadnought for Modern Warfare 4
A mobile fortress available to locate in key areas
Call of Duty and Aston Martin revealed the Aston Martin Dreadnought, a bespoke, in-game SUV concept specially created for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
Developed by Aston Martin’s design team in collaboration with the game’s developers and publishers, the Dreadnought pairs supercar-level performance and a full-blooded V12 engine with a military-grade armored exterior.
This configuration makes it the most aggressive all-wheel drive vehicle in the title.
Built as a mobile fortress rather than a joyride, it is designed to push objectives, save teammates under fire, and drive straight through contested ground while its armor plating absorbs heavy incoming damage.
Ground in the physics of the Modern Warfare universe, the unapologetic, uncompromising tactical SUV delivers a stunning exploration of extreme visual language. At the same time, it brings an engaging and dynamic player experience.
Its striking form has been imaged for elite tactical performance, with optimized aerodynamics and fully integrated digital command interfaces.
The exquisite design details emphasize the Dreadnought’s high luxury heritage. There’s the herringbone weave of the exterior carbon fiber, as well as the Oxford Tan leather dashboard, door panel details, and metallic gold gear lever.
Players will be able to locate the Dreadnought in key points of interest within both DMZ and Call of Duty: Warzone modes.
Fans got to see a full-size physical interpretation of the Dreadnought at Fanatics Fest NYC, ahead of its in-game debut on 23 October.
In other news, Call of Duty movie director and co-writer Peter Berg revealed that the film will be set in the Modern Warfare universe.
