TECNO rolls out SPARK 30 series Transformers Edition
SPARK 30 Pro Optimus Prime, SPARK 30 Bumblebee Editions announced
TECNO has officially launched the SPARK 30 series Transformers Edition in collaboration with Hasbro. The famed alien robots franchise has just turned 40 this year, and what better way to celebrate than by owning smartphones that come themed in fans’ favorite Transformers characters.

The SPARK 30 Pro Optimus Prime Edition, of course, comes in the standout blue and red colors of the Autobots’ leader. Half of the back is also in metallic gray, reminiscent of the cargo truck color when Optimus is transformed.
On the other hand, the SPARK 30 Bumblebee Edition comes in thorax yellow and black, well representing Optimus’ loyal sidekick. It has a more symmetrical pattern compared to the diagonal steel plates on the Optimus version. It also comes with yellow and black stripes on the camera island which reminds you of the pattern seen on bees.
For those opting for a non-Transformers look, the TECNO SPARK 30 series also includes the SPARK 30C, SPARK 30 5G, and SPARK 30C 5G.

Lenovo’s Legion is coming back to the gaming phone segment
The new Legion Y70 is launching in China next month.
Last year, the gaming phone segment received a huge blow when ASUS pulled the plug on the ROG Phone. Another brand is ready to take its place, though. Lenovo has been teasing the return of the Legion Phone. Lenovo’s gaming-centric brand is releasing the refreshed Legion Y70 in May.
Lenovo picks up where it last left off. Back in 2022, the brand launched the original Y70 in different circumstances. Most especially, it launched in a market with heavy competition from the ROG Phone. Now that the latter has called it quits, Lenovo is ready to step in.
And yes, according to a leaked photo, it does look like a Motorola phone, especially with the rear camera design. After all, Lenovo does own Motorola, so the similarities make sense.
In terms of hardware, it’s unknown which piece of hardware will come to the new phone. Since it’s a gaming phone, you can expect some beefy specs for all your gaming needs. Besides that, it’s confirmed that the device will also feature a heavy heaping of AI to help the performance along.
Now, in a Weibo post, Lenovo has confirmed that the new Legion Y70 is coming in May. That said, it will be a China-exclusive release for now. The brand ahs not confirmed whether the phone will arrive in international markets after the initial launch.

HONOR is introducing AI Image to Video 2.0 with the upcoming HONOR 600 Series.
The feature uses a unified multi-modal video generation model. It combines video creation, editing, and understanding in one system. It also supports inputs like images, video, and text.
Users can generate 3 to 8-second video clips using up to three images and natural language prompts. They can also define the first and last frames to control how scenes begin and end.
HONOR says the system improves visual consistency. It keeps subjects and scenes coherent even with complex transitions and camera movements.
The feature builds on the HONOR 400 Series. Users created over 13.4 million seconds of AI video on that device.
AI Image to Video 2.0 also includes preset templates and effects. These cover cinematic styles, transitions, and camera techniques such as bullet time and zoom effects.
The HONOR 600 Series adds a dedicated AI Button. A single press launches image-to-video generation from the gallery or supported apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, and X.
HONOR says the system also includes enhanced privacy and data security features.
