Upgrading to an iPhone? Smart, UnionBank offer cashback

Thinking of purchasing an iPhone anytime soon? Smart is offering up to a PhP 5,000 cashback when you upgrade to an iPhone and pay with a UnionBank credit card. The promo is available for Smart Prepaid, Smart Postpaid, and Smart Infinity subscribers.

Naturally, there are some requisites to this. To be eligible for the promo, subscribers must not have an active or existing UnionBank credit card yet. That means to fulfill the first step, Prepaid and postpaid subscribers must apply for a UnionBank Rewards Credit Card. Infinity members, meanwhile, should apply for the UnionBank Miles+ Credit Card.

After that, customers should use their new credit cards to purchase a device for a minimum of PhP 3,000. They will then be qualified to avail of 0% installment for 12 or 24 months at select Smart Stores.

Customers may get their preferred iPhone model at select Smart Stores. They will then be entitled to their first monthly amortization cashback until July 7, 2024 when they avail of an iPhone. The cashback amount is computed based on the device’s principal cost and the chosen installment term.
