ASUS is already set to unveil their new ZenFone series in May. The Taiwanese company is good at hiding details about their upcoming lineup. While they keep things under wraps, the hype for the ZenFone 6 is also pretty low.

Information regarding the ZenFone 6 is scarce, but it was spotted on AnTuTu today. Not many details were disclosed by the benchmark app; however, we got the core specs of the phone.

The ZenFone 6 is indeed going to be a flagship phone right off the bat, unlike its predecessor which had a different model for a top-of-the-line chip. It’ll be powered by a Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage.

Of course, the phone will have Android 9 Pie out of the box. The screen resolution is still at Full HD+, although it’ll have a taller 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

Apart from the specs, AnTuTu was also able to give us an idea about the phone’s performance; the app is designed to benchmark devices after all. With a score of 363172, it’s in the same league as the Xiaomi Mi 9 and Samsung Galaxy S10+. When the ZenFone 6 gets released, no doubt it’ll join the top dogs.

The new ZenFone 6 and its siblings (presumably) will be unveiled on May 16. The launch event in happening in Spain, which could mean it’ll be available in Europe first before other markets.

Kiosks, charging stations, and more

Jollibee Katipunan is the first “Level Up Joy” store that combines modern technology and innovation with the alagang Joy experience. “We’re happy to know with the Level Up Joy, we’re ushering a new era of total and modern customer joy experience with our patrons,” said Jollibee Philippines assistant VP and head of brand communications Arline Adeva.

Jollibee is surely ushering a new era with their first Level Up Joy store. Customers don’t have to wait in line anymore with self-order kiosks which was first introduced to Jollibee stores last 2018. With the kiosks, customers can order at their own pace and customize their orders according to their preferences.

For on-the-go customers, Jollibee Katipunan has wireless charging stations so they can just put down their phone and charge while eating their favorite langhap-sarap meals. With these stations, comfort and convenience is surely guaranteed as customers stay connected while enjoying their meals.

Also, Jollibee Katipunan now has a contemporary and fresh cool vibe that is surely Instagram-worthy. It features brightly colored digital menu boards, sleek lighting and fixtures, vibrant murals. All the while keeping the yellow and red hues that define a Jollibee store. Stepping inside makes one feel the modern vibe while basking in the nostalgic feeling.

Delivery also levels up in Jollibee Katipunan with new electric bikes rolling out. Jollibee hopes to replace all of its delivery fleet with an e-bike in the future, and it’s roll out in Katipunan is a sure start. The company is committed to bringing joy not only to people but also to the environment.

“Trust that Jollibee will really be among the forefront of tech innovations. Because we owe it to our customers to delight them and offer more convenience when they go to our restaurant,” said Adeva.

Looking ahead

The future is exciting for Jollibee. With the unveiling of its first Level Up Joy store, the company is embracing the future with technology and innovations. But it doesn’t want to stop at Katipunan. Other Jollibee branches will also be upgraded to Level Up Joy stores.

With Jollibee opening its 1000th store, it is gearing towards a vision of dominating locally and growing globally. Recently, it acquired The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf as part of its expansion. However, even if the company is now a bigger brand than it was 40 years ago, it keeps its joy experience which the company came to be known for.

Huawei P30 and Mate 20 will soon get EMUI 10

It’s finally coming!

Published

on

Back in late September, Huawei posted a list of devices, which would receive the EMUI 10 beta software in the coming months and today, the company has updated the list for the stable rollout schedule.

EMUI 10 will be based on Android 10 and it has been a long-pending rollout. Not surprisingly, the Chinese manufacturer will deploy the update on the P30, P30 Pro and the range of Mate 20 in the course of November 2019.

The update will also land on the latest smartphones of the subsidiary Honor, the Honor 20 and 20 Pro. From mid-November, the Android update will then be proposed on all models in the Mate 20 range, including Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and Mate 20 X.  The final update will be available for the P20 from March 2020.

However, keep in mind that the update schedule is aimed at the Chinese market, so it will probably take some extra time for EMUI 10 stable to reach the global variants.

Due to the ongoing American sanctions against the company, Huawei had to skip Google apps on the recently launched Mate 30. However, all other devices continue to receive Android updates along with an official license for the pre-installed services.
