Sony is trying to get hold of budget-conscious buyers with its new XB900N noise-canceling headphones. Bose, on the other hand, is pushing the premium segment forward with its new flagship wireless noise-canceling headphones: the Noise Cancelling Headphones 700.

Right off the bat, the 700 headphones from Bose feature a brand new design with a stainless-steel headband and synthetic protein leather earcups. It has touch controls like swipe and tap (similar to its Sony WH-1000XM3 competitor) for adjusting volume and playback.

It also has improved noise cancelation technology with 11 levels to choose from and instant on-off when you need to listen to your surroundings. With four microphones on board, the 700 headphones can isolate your voice for clearer calls and talk to Google Assistant or Alexa on the go.

Additionally, Bose’s new headphones have a feature called Bose AR. It uses motion sensors and location tags to track your movement and give information about your surrounding as you walk.

All of these great features come at a price. The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 will retail for US$ 399 in the US. It’s more expensive than the already-premium Quiet Comfort 35 II, but also more stylish. Bose’s new headphones are now available for pre-order on their website.
