GiMATE AI Agent, new monitors, AI Box: Gigabyte at Computex 2025

All in on AI

Published

on

Going through the Gigabyte Computex 2025 tour felt like a boss rush of information. There were the usual components, moving AI forward, some brand spanking new monitors, and so much more.

We were particularly impressed with the GiMATE AI Agent, the new set of gaming monitors, and their AI Box machines.

Here’s a quick rundown.

GiMATE AI Agent

This was personally the most fascinating thing for me during the entire tour. The GiMATE AI Agent is a one-stop shop for everything AI on Gigabyte machines.

It is an AI agent that is deeply embedded, learns your habits, and anticipates your needs. With it you can control nearly everything on your laptop or PC. Everything from tuning performance to securing privacy.

It also has image generators embedded – ones that you can tweak and refine to your liking. Yes. GeneratorS. Flux, Stable Diffusion, it’s all right there.

I’m not sure I fully grasped everything that it is and can do. We’re looking to spend an extended time with one of their laptops to test GiMATE even further.

New Monitors

The new monitors on display were fascinating, each one with a trick of its own.

AI Box

Going all in on AI, Gigabyte also introduced a couple of interesting AI boxes during the tour. These are the AI Top Atom and the AORUS RTX 5090 AI Box.

Both were designed so that those who really want to train AI can have dedicated machines to do so. Training AI requires plenty of computing power and these products from Gigabyte are especially optimized for that task.

AI Top Atom

  • Grace Blackwell Al supercomputer
  • Powered by NVIDIA DGX Spark
  • Fine-tune Al models up to 70 billion parameters
  • Run Al development and testing workloads
  • Al models up to 200 billion parameters
  • NVIDIA Connect-X networking

AORUS RTX 5090 AI Box

  • GeForce RTX™ 5090
  • Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4
  • Robust computing power
  • Capable of handling Al, gaming, and creation
  • Thunderbolt™ 5 & USB4 2.0 plug and play
  • WATERFORCE all-in-one cooling system
  • Thunderbolt 5 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 for peripherals
  • Ethernet port & Power Delivery (PD 3.0) for quick charge

Everything else on display

There were so much more to see and that most of which kind of flew over my head.

The part about how they achieve the low reflective, smooth matte-finish on their laptops was fascinating.

The actual laptops, too, most of which have GiMATE AI Agent equipped, are equally just as fascinating. They looked sleeked, felt strong, and are obviously built with specs and parts you’d want and need from a gaming laptop in 2025.

Naturally, there was also an array of GeFORCE RTX 50 and Radeon RX 9000 GPUs.

And if you’re finally planning on building your own PC, they have a bunch of motherboards with AI-accelerated DDR5 memory overclocking, AI tuning for you to choose from.
