After introducing a catchy 3-month free trial for its fixed broadband service, Globe is now beefing up their prepaid data promos for Prepaid Home WiFi owners.
Globe At Home, the telco’s broadband service arm, introduced the cheapest mobile data add-on available to date. With the new HomeSurf promos, Prepaid Home WiFi users can enjoy 1GB of data for just PhP 15. But there’s always a catch: This is just an add-on. Users must have an existing GoSurf50 subscription to get this.
Aside from the add-on, HomeSurf also has promos with bigger data allocations: 10GB for PhP 349 and 15GB for PhP 599. Both promos have longer validity at 10 and 30 days, respectively.
The new HomeSurf promos are exclusively available through the Globe Home-Fi app. The companion app is available for download through the Google Play Store, and it’s also coming to the Apple App Store by October 15.
Introduced last year, the Globe Prepaid Home WiFi is the telco’s solution for those who are in need of a stronger internet connection in their home without the lengthy contracts. It’s also an alternative for those who rely on pocket WiFi or mobile hotspots, and need a better and dedicated device to connect to the web.

Buy a Pixel 3 on Verizon and get another one for free
Verizon’s BOGO deal is the best so far
After all the leaks, the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are now official. Both come with bigger screens, better cameras, and sadly, higher prices. If you want to get them at a more reasonable price, you could check out Verizon’s offer in the US.
For a limited time, you can buy one Google Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL through Verizon with monthly device payments for 24 months, and get a Pixel 3 (64GB) for free.
It’s basically a buy one, get one deal for the base model. If you wish to get a better variant, you can use the US$ 799.99 credit to get any other Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL model.
Of course, there’s a catch to these deals. Verizon wants you to add a new line to one of your Pixel 3 phones. Seems like a pretty fair deal, right? Pre-orders are now open through Verizon’s website.
The Pixel 3 phones are available in Clearly White, Just Black, and Not Pink colors. The Pixel 3 starts at US$ 33.33 per month for 24 months on Verizon device payment (US$ 799.99 retail price), while the Pixel 3 XL starts at US$ 38.74 per month for 24 months (US$ 929.99 retail price).
Razer Phone has major discount ahead of successor launch
From the official source
Just as Razer subtly announced that the Razer Phone 2 is on the way, their original Razer Phone is experiencing a major discount on the company’s website.
Go the Razer Phone’s official product page, and you’ll be greeted by this text:
“Limited time offer: Get US$ 300 off your Razer Phone. Use Code WOOHOO on cart.”
This deal brings Razer’s one and only phone down to just US$ 399 from its original US$ 699 price tag. That’s a discount of about 42 percent!
That’s great for a gamer-centric smartphone with hardware that’s still competitive with this year’s best. However, Razer didn’t specify how long this promotion will last.
In our own review, we praised the Razer Phone for its great balance of power and entertainment features, as well as the long-lasting battery and incredible display.
Even if the Razer Phone 2 is bound to show up soon, grabbing the first-gen model at this price is a steal.
ASUS ZenFone 5 gets its price slashed in early holiday sale
It’s about time!
We’ve just entered September, and you know what that means? The holiday season is starting in the Philippines!
Yes, it’s premature, but this also means we’ll be seeing more discounts and sales from our favorite brands. The latest one to do so is ASUS with its popular ZenFone 5.
The company’s flag-bearer got its price slashed from PhP 19,995 to only PhP 17,995. There doesn’t seem to be a limit to this promotion, so you can taking your time in considering one.
The ZenFone 5 is best known for its AI-powered cameras, 6.2-inch display with a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, and reliable Snapdragon 636 processor.
ASUS may have also been considering the rising competition from rival brands when discounting this smartphone. Honor has a bestseller in its hands with the Honor Play, and the Pocophone F1 is gradually finding its way to more markets this month.
