The HONOR Magic V5 and its AI helped design this outfit

In collaboration with CuteCircuit for London Fashion Week

The AI capabilities on the HONOR Magic V5 helped design a high-tech, multipurpose outfit collection for London Fashion Week.

The groundbreaking fashion partnership was pulled off in collaboration with visionary design house CuteCircuit.

In a video HONOR uploaded on its global YouTube channel, CuteCircuit co-founder and chief creative officer Francesca Rosella bared working with the flagship foldable to design a mini collection.

Rosella explained that the multi-functionality of the HONOR Magic V5 was the primary inspiration for the outfit that could be worn for workouts, casual trips, and even business settings.

The designer considered what she would wear throughout a day as she goes to the gym, accommodates meetings, and parties at night.

The result is a transformable black and gold outfit with a Lorenz Attractor design incorporated throughout. There are also pieces that have microlights that illuminate.

Throughout the process, Rosella said she collaborated with the HONOR Magic V5. That includes making sketches with the display that supports pens.

She also went back and forth with HONOR AI for design ideas for the outfit. Meanwhile, Multi-Flex Mode also allowed for viewing visuals from several windows simultaneously.

BINI and KATSEYE topped recent Google Search trends ahead of their Coachella performances this month.

It’s clear that Coachella attendees are curious about the popular Philippine pop girl group, as well as the Los Angeles-based global girl group.

That’s aside from dedicated BLOOMs who are eager to see Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena take part in the legendary California music festival on Friday, April 10.

According to Google Trends data, global searches for the term “BINI Coachella” hit a perfect
score of 100 on April 8.

This indicates that the search term briefly became the highest-ranking search trend.

Meanwhile, “KATSEYE Coachella” scored 98 on April 7 on Google Trends, followed by a perfect 100 on April 8.

The timing of KATSEYE’s new single, “PINKY UP” couldn’t have been better as it dropped just a day before their Sahara stage set.

At the same time, the Filipino octet has also released “Blush” as their new comeback song — just hours ahead of KATSEYE.

As such, EYEKONS have also been scouring the interwebs for the global girl group.

And as these are worldwide search data, the recent Google Search trends somewhat prove these artists are effectively breaking through the global mainstream, and introducing their respective cultures to the global stage.

Metal Gear Solid is getting a film adaptation

It will be directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein.

Metal Gear Solid

Videogame adaptations are so hot right now. After the mainstream success of The Super Mario Bros. duology, several other franchises have committed to seeing their favorite characters on the big screen. Now, Metal Gear Solid is the latest to make the jump. Sony has confirmed that a film adaptation about the stealth franchise is in the works.

Though the game’s movie announcement is a big deal on its own right, it’s attached to an even bigger announcement: Sony has signed the up-and-coming directing duo Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein to direct a number of its upcoming projects.

The deal’s first confirmed project, via Hollywood Reporter, is an adaptation of Metal Gear Solid, produced by Avi and Ari Arad.

Spanning multiple decades, the Metal Gear series is a stealth-based franchise that often goes off the rails with its supernatural elements. Naturally, it’s all thanks to series creator Hideo Kojima, notoriously known for his unconventional storytelling. When Kojima left Konami, the franchise has since been shelved but still enjoys a lot of hype, thanks to the occasional remake.

Right now, it’s unknown how much of the film will lean into the craziness of the franchise. It should still be a crazy ride to see, though.

Dyson now has its own pricey handheld fan

The HushJet Mini Cool can spin up to a blazing 65,000rpm.

Handheld fans are in again. With the scorching heat bearing down on the country, a portable way to keep cool is an absolute must if you want to last even a few minutes out in the sun. Now, if you have the money, why settle for a plain old JisuLife? Dyson has just launched its own handheld fan called the HushJet Mini Cool.

Ironically, when I see a JisuLife, I already think of a Dyson with its unique design reminiscent of a turbofan engine. With its new handheld fan, Dyson is once again reimagining new ways to deliver wind from one place to another.

The HushJet Mini Cool doesn’t feature Dyson’s iconic circular chamber. Rather, it’s very tubular with an asterisk-like spout to deliver cool air. The brushless motor inside can spin up to 65,000rpm, which translates to air speeds of up to 25m/s.

For reference, the JisuLife Pro 1 spins only up to 15,000rpm. The HushJet Mini Cool has some serious firepower for such a small device.

For functionality, Dyson’s fan has six speeds, which includes a boost mode for those extra-hot days. It can also stand on its own, so it can be a makeshift desk fan if the need arises.

For its insane windspeeds, the fan doesn’t have the most stellar battery life. A single charge is reportedly enough for only six hours of juice. Thankfully, it can be charged via a USB-C cable and a charging stand shipped with the box.

As with most things Dyson, the HushJet Mini Cool costs a pretty penny, setting you back by US$ 99.99. It comes in three colorway options: Stone/Blush, Ink/Cobalt, and Carnelian/Sky (available in May).
