Amid the constant bloating of traffic in the city, less conventional transportation methods outside of four wheels are getting their much-needed spotlight. If you’re looking for a savvier way to get around the metro, Infinite Machine is a new name in the game aiming to kickstart a post-car future. Here’s their first-ever product, the Infinite Machine P1.

Touted as a personal electric vehicle, the P1 offers a more convenient yet speedy way to travel. The vehicle features an angular design meant to stand out amid a river of four-wheelers. For durability, it has an aluminum and steel monochassis.

For performance, the P1 has a 12 kw-peak motor. It has four drive modes: Eco, Performance, Reverse, and Turbo Boost. Despite being a personal vehicle, the P1 can go up to 55mph (or around 89kph). Featuring a 4.3KwH, 72-volt battery, a single charge of the P1’s battery can reportedly last up to 60 miles (or 97 kilometers) in city environments.

Speaking of batteries, the P1 sports a removeable battery. Users can charge it in a simple home outlet.

The P1 also supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Users can use the apps to unlock the vehicle remotely and detect theft based on cloud technology.

Finally, for some additional perks, the P1 offers a pocket under the driving chassis, room for bags between the driver’s legs, and a compartment under the seat.

The Infinite Machina P1 will sell for US$ 10,000. It comes in anodized Silver or Black. Interested customers must pay a US$ 1,000 deposit to reserve a unit.

The vehicle will start with a 1,000-unit run. It will start shipping within 12 to 18 months. However, customers can pay a US$ 5,000 deposit towards the purchase to reserve the first 100 units.

Xiaomi EV has just made a historic automotive milestone, with a pilotless Xiaomi YU7 GT completing a lap at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit on its own.

Equipped with the brand’s premium Track Package, the EV conquered one of the most brutal racetracks on the planet without a human driving it, clocking a certified lap time of 10:29.483 across the grueling 20.8 km loop.

In March 2026, Xiaomi rolled out a next-generation platform driven by its new Xiaomi XLA architecture and the advanced MiMo-Embodied foundation model.

With enhanced understanding and reasoning capabilities, the new system further improves its ability to interpret complex environments, dynamic traffic participants, and vehicle states.

The driving system is built on an end-to-end architecture and vehicle dynamics model, enabling real-time perception of vehicle states and road conditions.

It makes control decisions through dynamic prediction, and continuously coordinates steering, braking, and power delivery to maintain vehicle stability.

Such system accelerates the evolution of autonomous driving from behavior imitation to deeper environmental understanding and autonomous decision-making.

Taming the “Green Hell” with AI

Conquering the Nordschleife is no small feat for a human racing driver, let alone software.

The track is widely regarded as the ultimate proving ground for vehicle development due to its punishing layout: 73 distinct corners, roughly 300 meters of radical elevation changes, wildly inconsistent grip levels, and zero room for error.

During the certified high-speed time trial, Xiaomi’s autonomous system successfully navigated every single one of these complex hazards in real time.
