Infinix is boosting its lineup in the Philippines with the launch of ZERO 8. Announced last August, Infinix ZERO 8 is a competitive midrange with attractive specs to boot in an affordable package.
An attractive package all-around
Under the hood of the Infinix ZERO 8 is a MediaTek Helio G90T. It is a decent processor, capable of handling most apps and even some intensive tasks with ease. The brand also touts a built-in cooling system inside. There is 8GB of RAM for faster performance, and 128GB of internal storage for keeping large files.
Its camera also punches weight with other smartphones of its class. The rear boasts a quad-camera setup, headlined by the 64MP primary wide-angle lens utilizing the latest Sony IMX686 sensor. Accompanying the primary camera is an 8GB ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP depth sensor, and another 2MP depth sensor.
Upfront, there are two selfie cameras housed on a display cut-out. These two cameras are 48MP wide-angle lens + 8MP ultra-wide-lens for much flexible selfie options.
In terms of display, Infinix Hot 8 has a 6.85-inch full HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Thanks to its 4,500mAh battery, the phone can last a full day of usage even when used intensively. The 33Wh Super Quick Charge ensures fast top-ups, charging up to 70% in just 30 minutes.
Pricing and availability
The best part about the Infinix Hot 8, however, is its price. Unlike other midrange phones of the same spec, this one comes at an affordable price of PhP 12,990. Furthermore, the phone is priced at only PhP 11,990 on November 11 at Lazada. It comes in two colors: black diamond and silver diamond.
