Insomniac Games is working on X-Men, Venom games, leak says
Plus early footage of Marvel’s Wolverine
Last week, a substantial leak revealed that Insomniac Studios is working on a new Spider-Man game tackling the Spider-Verse. Apparently, the bombastic leak is only just the tip of the iceberg. Stemming from the same set of leaks, a trove of information has leaked that the studio is working on several Marvel projects for the foreseeable future.
While Insomniac Games has already confirmed Marvel’s Wolverine and is more than likely working on a third Spider-Man game, the studio’s Marvel slate is incredibly stacked (via Insider Gaming). Besides the two titles, it is also working on a Venom title for 2025 and an X-Men title for 2030. As for non-Marvel properties, a new Ratchet & Clank is coming in 2029. Finally, two new IPs are coming in 2031 and 2035. (Note that the years correspond to fiscal, rather than calendar years.)
The timeline also includes release windows for Marvel’s Wolverine and Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. The former will reportedly launch in 2026. Meanwhile, the latter will be split into two parts. The first part will launch in 2027. The second part will launch a year later in 2028.
Besides the timeline, the leak also contains very early developmental footage for Marvel’s Wolverine. The footage shows the titular character climbing walls by using his claws. It also shows a few investigation techniques through crime scene recreations. Of course, this is very early footage. Since the game is still some time away, the final product will feature a lot more polish.
With the footage and the timeline, Insomniac Games has shifted most of its resources into churning out Marvel properties. Given the success of the Spider-Man series, it’s no surprise that Marvel Entertainment is entrusting more projects to the studio.

Call of Duty, Aston Martin unveil Dreadnought for Modern Warfare 4
A mobile fortress available to locate in key areas
Call of Duty and Aston Martin revealed the Aston Martin Dreadnought, a bespoke, in-game SUV concept specially created for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
Developed by Aston Martin’s design team in collaboration with the game’s developers and publishers, the Dreadnought pairs supercar-level performance and a full-blooded V12 engine with a military-grade armored exterior.
This configuration makes it the most aggressive all-wheel drive vehicle in the title.
Built as a mobile fortress rather than a joyride, it is designed to push objectives, save teammates under fire, and drive straight through contested ground while its armor plating absorbs heavy incoming damage.
Ground in the physics of the Modern Warfare universe, the unapologetic, uncompromising tactical SUV delivers a stunning exploration of extreme visual language. At the same time, it brings an engaging and dynamic player experience.
Its striking form has been imaged for elite tactical performance, with optimized aerodynamics and fully integrated digital command interfaces.
The exquisite design details emphasize the Dreadnought’s high luxury heritage. There’s the herringbone weave of the exterior carbon fiber, as well as the Oxford Tan leather dashboard, door panel details, and metallic gold gear lever.
Players will be able to locate the Dreadnought in key points of interest within both DMZ and Call of Duty: Warzone modes.
Fans got to see a full-size physical interpretation of the Dreadnought at Fanatics Fest NYC, ahead of its in-game debut on 23 October.
In other news, Call of Duty movie director and co-writer Peter Berg revealed that the film will be set in the Modern Warfare universe.
