Let’s talk about iconic Apple products! For me, three come to mind:
1) The iPod, because it’s what made me an Apple user. And I’d buy one if Apple still made them.
2) The iPhone because it literally changed the world.
3) And the iMac — because it is the perfect representation of a personal computer.
This is the new 2024 iMac which hits stores this week.
It’s got a fresh new coat of paint, a more powerful M4 chip, and a new video camera. But is it significant enough of an update? Should you upgrade? Should you switch?
Watch our Unboxing and Reiew of the new M4 iMac.
Is the 2024 M4 iMac your GadgetMatch?
There’s no competition. The iMac is the perfect all in one.
I can see it as a computer for everyone to share at home, in a dorm room, an office, a small business. It comes with everything you need in the box and is so easy to setup. It also looks so good and will definitely brighten up any space.
If you already own an M1 or M3 iMac. I wouldn’t rush to upgrade just yet. Unless your work requires more processing power.
Otherwise, if you’re looking for a desktop Mac or switching from a PC, the new 2024 iMac comes highly recommended by me. It also comes with the GadgetMatch Seal of Approval.
At WWDC 2026, Apple unveiled Siri AI, a smarter version of Siri powered by Apple Intelligence, with personal context, onscreen awareness, deeper app integration, and a brand-new experience across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro.
Apple also announced new Apple Intelligence features, Google Gemini-powered foundation models, smarter photo editing tools, improved parental controls, faster performance across iPhone and iPad, and the next version of macOS: Golden Gate.
In this WWDC 2026 Rewind, Michael Josh breaks down the biggest announcements, what actually matters. And, whether Apple finally delivered on the promises it made last year.
