In the gaming monitor department, MSI has revealed the MSI MPG 491CQP QD-OLED that features a 49-inch screen with a 32:9 aspect ratio, a 5120×1440 (DQHD) resolution, and a 1800R curvature.

The monitor merges an OLED panel with Quantum Dot technology for vibrant colors that are VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified. In terms of performance, it offers 0.03ms GtG response time and 144Hz refresh rate.

A new suite of QD-OLED monitors that feature next-gen QD-OLED panels in flat and curved models have also been revealed. These displays offer precise pixel lighting control and true blacks, as well as sharper images and reduced color fringing.

New hardware

Meanwhile, the MEG Z790 ACE MAX is a top-tier motherboard designed to cater to the needs of gamers and users needing high-performance setups.

It supports the latest 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors and ensures compatibility using cutting-edge technology. The motherboard also includes a DDR5 memory for higher speeds and better performance.

There are also dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, Wi-Fi 7, dual 2.5G LAN, and a plethora of M.2 connectors for better efficiency at computing.

Complementing this is the MAG CORELIQUID E series. The cooling system has a water pump that utilizes a ceramic-magnetic structure to work better than conventional metal counterparts.

Special reinforcement between the water tubes and the radiator prevents coolant leakage. Furthermore, the cooling head is capable of a 270-degree rotation.

New gaming desktops

The release of the new monitors and hardware coincides with MSI’s new gaming desktop offerings: the MPG Trident AS 14th, MAG Infinite S3 14th, and MAG Codex 6 14th.

All three are powered by Intel Core processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPUs, and utilize the MSI AI engine software feature for a more enhanced and personalized experience.
