PC Game Pass gets cheaper, but Call of Duty delays are coming
Lower price, slower releases
Microsoft is making PC Game Pass more affordable in the Philippines. But there’s a trade-off for fans of one of its biggest franchises.
Starting today, PC Game Pass drops to PHP 225 per month, down from PHP 320. The move lowers the barrier for players looking to jump into the service’s growing library across PC.
The update also comes with new US pricing. PC Game Pass now costs $13.99/month (from $16.49), while Xbox Game Pass Ultimate drops to $22.99/month (from $29.99).
But alongside the price cut comes a notable shift: future Call of Duty titles will no longer launch day one on PC Game Pass.
Call of Duty won’t be day-one anymore
Beginning this year, new Call of Duty releases will arrive on the service around a year later, typically during the following holiday season. That means subscribers will need to wait longer before accessing new entries in the franchise.
Existing Call of Duty titles already included in the library will remain available, so current players won’t lose access to what’s already there.
The change also applies to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate globally, where pricing has similarly been adjusted following feedback that the service had become too expensive. (Game Developer)
Still a strong value play
Despite the delay in Call of Duty releases, PC Game Pass continues to offer a wide catalog of games, including day-one launches from Xbox Game Studios and partner publishers.
Subscribers still get access to hundreds of titles, along with perks tied to the broader Game Pass ecosystem depending on their plan.
Microsoft says it will continue refining the service based on community feedback, signaling that more changes could come as it balances pricing, content, and long-term value.
Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia and Square Enix have announced that FINAL FANTASY X | X-2 HD Remaster is now available on Nintendo Switch 2. Physical copies are also on sale across Southeast Asia.

Call of Duty, Aston Martin unveil Dreadnought for Modern Warfare 4
A mobile fortress available to locate in key areas
Call of Duty and Aston Martin revealed the Aston Martin Dreadnought, a bespoke, in-game SUV concept specially created for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4.
Developed by Aston Martin’s design team in collaboration with the game’s developers and publishers, the Dreadnought pairs supercar-level performance and a full-blooded V12 engine with a military-grade armored exterior.
This configuration makes it the most aggressive all-wheel drive vehicle in the title.
Built as a mobile fortress rather than a joyride, it is designed to push objectives, save teammates under fire, and drive straight through contested ground while its armor plating absorbs heavy incoming damage.
Ground in the physics of the Modern Warfare universe, the unapologetic, uncompromising tactical SUV delivers a stunning exploration of extreme visual language. At the same time, it brings an engaging and dynamic player experience.
Its striking form has been imaged for elite tactical performance, with optimized aerodynamics and fully integrated digital command interfaces.
The exquisite design details emphasize the Dreadnought’s high luxury heritage. There’s the herringbone weave of the exterior carbon fiber, as well as the Oxford Tan leather dashboard, door panel details, and metallic gold gear lever.
Players will be able to locate the Dreadnought in key points of interest within both DMZ and Call of Duty: Warzone modes.
Fans got to see a full-size physical interpretation of the Dreadnought at Fanatics Fest NYC, ahead of its in-game debut on 23 October.
In other news, Call of Duty movie director and co-writer Peter Berg revealed that the film will be set in the Modern Warfare universe.
