Samsung brings Circle to Search to Galaxy A series, Tab S9 FE

Samsung continues to expand the reach of its AI-powered features. The tech giant has announced that the Circle to Search function is coming soon to the Samsung Galaxy A series, as well as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series.

Covered are the Galaxy A55, A54, A35, and A34 models, as well as the Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+. The roll out will begin in September 2024. The feature will be available once users download and install the One UI 6.1.1 update.

The Galaxy A series, of course, is Samsung’s more budget-friendly smartphone line. The development further democratizes mobile AI services in the Galaxy ecosystem, not limiting them to just the flagship and high-end devices.

Circle to Search

Samsung’s Circle to Search has quickly become a fan favorite since it was introduced to the flagship Galaxy S24 series. It then expanded to more devices, including the latest Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6.

The AI feature has evolved continuously to enhance its usability and intuitiveness. It has included full-page translation, homework help, and QR and barcode scanning capabilities.

When Circle to Search enabled, users do not have to switch apps to search anything. Rather, they just need simple gestures like circle, highlight, or tap. These gestures apply to texts, images, and videos they want to search. The feature is a result of Samsung’s deep collaboration with Google.

AMD expands Ryzen PRO 9000 series processor lineup

AMD brings 3D V-Cache technology to commercial segment

AMD has announced an expansion of its enterprise desktop lineup with new Ryzen PRO 9000 Series processors. These are built on the Zen 5 architecture and set to debut in the second half of 2026.

This is the first time AMD is bringing its high-bandwidth 3D V-Cache technology into the commercial workstation segment.

This way, the company unlocks massive performance leaps for data-heavy professional industries.

The introduction of 3D V-Cache directly targets power users handling complex, intensive digital pipelines.

By vertically stacking additional last-level cache directly onto the processor die, the hardware drastically cuts down memory latency and accelerates data access.

Primary beneficiaries of this architecture are creative and technical professionals, including:

  • video editors and animators
  • 3D artists and VFX creators
  • engineers and architects
  • developers and data scientists

The expanded hardware lineup spans configurations from six to 16 performance cores. Power limits break past traditional limits, or up to a sustained 170 watts to maintain peak clock speeds during overnight renders.

The range also makes the lineup scalable from compact desktop systems to full-scale tower workstation systems.

The AMD Ryzen PRO 9000 series also supports up to 256GB of memory to prevent system crashes. Enterprise system rollouts are expected to begin later this year.

UGREEN has introduced its new Nexode and MagFlow Air Editions, a lineup of ultra-portable charging accessories designed primarily for Apple users.

The new collection focuses on combining compact form factors with fast charging performance for devices like the MacBook Air, iPhone, iPad, and AirPods.

On the wireless charging side, the MagFlow Air Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 15W offers Qi2-certified 15W magnetic charging in a slim portable form factor.

The power bank also includes a built-in USB-C cable alongside an additional USB-C port for more flexible charging options. UGREEN says it uses premium ATL battery cells for improved safety and reliability.

GIGABYTE to focus on end-to-end AI infrastructure, deployment at COMPUTEX 2026

Showcase to highlight how production AI is implemented, used on real-world scenarios

GIGABYTE has announced its showcase for COMPUTEX 2026, centering on the theme “Future Landing.”

Moving away from conceptual AI training models, the company’s exhibit next month will focus strictly on the immediate implementation, scaling, and real-world operation of production AI infrastructure.

According to the company, the exhibit addresses a major industry shift: the transition of AI from development phases into large-scale inference and physical operation.

Visitors can expect an interactive breakdown of the AI infrastructure lifecycle, structured into three distinct zones: Ready, Deployable, and Happening.

The “Ready” phase highlights fully validated systems simulated at GAIFA (GIGABYTE AI Factory Accelerator), the company’s dedicated facility in Taiwan.

To demonstrate rapid scalability, the “Deployable” section will feature modular, prefabricated infrastructure units that integrate compute, cooling, and power, all managed via the proprietary GIGABYTE Pod Manager (GPM) software.

Lastly, the “Happening” zone will showcase live, practical applications of physical AI and localized healthcare inference. Attendees can observe a live “real-to-sim-to-real” automation pipeline showing how AI models move from virtual simulation into active robotic systems.

GIGABYTE will also demonstrate point-of-care medical AI running locally, including real-time polyp detection and bone marrow analysis.

In addition to the primary enterprise infrastructure booth (first floor), GIGABYTE will operate a secondary exhibit on the fourth floor.

This dedicated space will showcase edge and end-user applications, specifically highlighting its AI TOP series. This demonstrates how the company’s hardware scales down from massive data center architectures to deskside deployments.
