Samsung Galaxy Book2 Business launches

For hybrid work

Galaxy Book2

After “new normal”, “hybrid work” seems to be the new buzzword for tech manufacturers these days. And Samsung is leaning in fully with the release of the Galaxy Book2 Business.

Addressing hybrid work needs means putting in place tech that’s secure but still enables creativity and seamless collaboration. That’s what Samsung set out to do with the Galaxy Book2 Business.

Best-in-Class security

Samsung’s no stranger to developing secure devices. Their Galaxy line closely integrates the use of their Knox tech. But the company takes it even further for this business line laptop. Realizing the need to protect employees who work from home from cyber risks, the Galaxy Book2 is equipped with Samsung’s
defense-grade security technology, Intel Hardware Shield Technology, and secure embedded processor to protect BIOS.

The Galaxy Book2 Business is able to stop attempts to compromise its system by establishing a Hardware-based Root of Trust, which validates BIOS and builds a dependable trust chain between the CPU, secure embedded processor and SPI flash. Should Galaxy Book2 Business become the target of an attack, valuable data is secured with BIOS auto-recovery, which can detect threats during the PC’s boot process and automatically restore the BIOS to a backup copy before corruption strikes.

In pop-culture terms, it’s like having a Time Stone to reverse your laptop into a pre-damaged state should an attack occur. Just like what Thanos did to Vision after Wanda destroyed the Mind Stone in Avenger’s Infinity War.

Productivity for the mobile worker

Video calls has been the bane of everyone’s existence since the pandemic hit. Majority of our interactions with other people has boiled down to this type of connection. Gadget makers are doing their part to ease the whole process as best they can. Which is why the Galaxy Book2 is has a Studio Mode feature.

Studio Mode elevates the whole video calling experience by enhancing both its video and audio aspects. There’s auto-framing that makes sure you’re at centerstage and Background Effects to keep the focus on you. It also has noise isolation features making sure it captures less of the background noise and more of your own voice.

A powerful addition to the Galaxy

We’re sure you’re curious about its numbers on paper so here’s a quick look for you:

This way they can send and receive texts right on the laptop.
