Samsung is selling S Pen replacements for US$ 40

In case you lose the stylus

Earlier this month, Samsung launched the much-awaited Galaxy Note 20 series. Besides the flurry of new innovation, the flagship smartphones series also introduced an all-new S Pen. Unfortunately, the company isn’t making it easy for you to lose the vital accessory. Spotted on their online store, Samsung is selling S Pen replacements for US$ 40.

Compared to the previous generation, the Note 20 series developed a better S Pen experience for consumers. For one, it’s much faster. It has a latency of just 9ms, making it close to a pen-to-paper experience. You’ll see your annotations in no time.

Additionally, the stylus comes with more accessibility features including touch-less navigation straight from the pen. If that’s not enough, the device’s software can even improve your handwriting on the phone.

With the way Samsung integrated a lot of features with the stylus, the S Pen is as important as the device itself. Sadly, it’s not as durable as the hardy Galaxy Note 20. According to a recent stress test, the plastic stylus snapped easily under enough pressure. It’s a major risk to keep it in your back pocket. Besides that, users can lose it if it’s not securely affixed to the phone.

If you do lose the stylus, a replacement S Pen will cost US$ 39.99 on the online store. At the very least, you can choose which of the five colors you prefer in case you want to mix and match colors. Regardless, you might want to keep the stylus safe and sound.

The Galaxy Note 20 series is available now. The regular Galaxy Note 20 starts at US$ 999.99. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra starts at US$ 1,299.99.
