November shopping sales are usually grander than Christmas itself. It’s the most important buildup towards the holiday season, and consumers look forward to scoring the best deals in preparation for their gift-giving traditions.

And Shopee is inviting its users in the Philippines to take advantage of the 11.11 Mega Pamasko Sale. On Tuesday, Shopee formally unveiled its 11.11 sale campaign via a launch event dedicated for its content creators.

The event was graced by executives from the ecommerce platform, as well as a mix of influencers and renowned content creators and affiliates.

Drag queens performed while a fashion show featuring partner brands also highlighted the event. More partners also had their booths set up to promote ahead of 11.11.

11.11 Mega Pamasko Sale

From November 1 to 12, 2024, customers can avail of Free Shipping vouchers with no minimum spend.

Purchases from the orange app are also guaranteed of what Shopee calls On-Time Pamasko Delivery. In fact, late deliveries lead to free discount vouchers for customers.

Meanwhile, on 11.11 itself, Shopee users can check the app for 11.11 Rush Deals at these times:

  • 12 midnight
  • 12:30 AM
  • 12 noon
  • 6:30 PM

Included in the Rush Deals promotion are exciting products like the Xiaomi Smart TV, Dyson Airwrap, and Nintendo Switch.

Moreover, Shopee is offering 70% off on selected holiday products. Lastly, users can browse the app and play Shopee Shake for a chance to win up to 1.1 million coins.

A shift to content creation

It’s a well-known fact that Shopee has taken the dramatic shift to a more visual approach as far as its ecommerce platform is concerned.

As such, content creators power the app by promoting various products in a more enticing manner, like creating shortform videos to highlight a product’s key selling points.

Shopee Live, where orange app affiliates promote products in real-time and earn commissions for each sold item, has also been an integral part of the platform.

And so far, the numbers have been encouraging. According to Shopee, Shopee Live has seen a 60% increase in viewership from last year to this year.

On the other hand, creators produced 10 times more content on Shopee Video in the first quarter of 2024. The feature was introduced in February, then offering customers a new way to shop.
