First glimpse at vivo X90 Pro+’s camera specs

vivo’s much celebrated X series is known for pushing the limits of smartphone photography and videography. Now, the brand is giving fans a glimpse of what they’ll get from its upcoming vivo X90 series.

The series’ flagship, the vivo X90 Pro+ features a camera system that has a 1-inch Sony IMX989 wide lens as its main camera, paired with a 48MP IMX598 ultra-wide.

On top of that, the phone has two telephoto cameras. There’s a 50mm prime master camera perfect for capturing portraits. And a 90mm telephoto portrait lens suited for creating spatial compression and bokeh.

Upgraded V2 chip, ZEISS

All phones from the X90 series will come with an upgraded version of ZEISS T* coating, introducing ALC sub-wavelength bionic structure coating to eliminate flare and ghosting.

vivo has also upgraded the hardware of its vivo V2 chip. A super HDR function is added. There’s also more video shooting capabilities, including 4K ultra-sensitive night vision device and colorful night scene, are now possible.

The phones will also have “zero delays” capture and a new generation of motion detection algorithms with shutter delays as low as 30ms.

When it comes to post-processing, the vivo X90 Pro+ supports 14bit SuperRaw and video log mode function for better quality.

With Dolby Vision video ecology, users can bring the full workflow of Dolby Vision from shooting to display up to editing.
