Xiaomi is no. 1 best-selling smartphone brand during 11.11

Outranked others on both Lazada and Shopee

Xiaomi did it again: it is the no. 1 best-selling smartphone brand in the recently concluded 11.11 sale event. It outranked others on Lazada and Shopee in terms of smartphones sold for that one-day sale.

The bulk of the sales goes to both the recently launched Mi 10T Pro and POCO X3 NFC. During the sale, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro sold over 1,700 units within the day. The POCO X3 NFC fared better, with all the units being sold out within 10 minutes of its sale.

It’s not surprising why the Mi 10T Pro fared well. For its PhP 24,990 price tag, buyers are getting the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865 chipset which is 5G capable. It also has a whopping 108MP camera coupled with a super high 144Hz refresh rate for its LCD display. Overall, these features make it one of the cheapest 5G-enabled flagship smartphones, especially with the massive price discounts found during 11.11.

Meanwhile, the POCO X3 NFC is a well-rounded midranger with 120Hz Full HD LCD display, a Snapdragon 732G chipset, quad cameras, and IP53 splash-proof certification. With those, users are getting decent specs which are made more attractive with price discounts from its regular price tag of PhP 12,990.

Best-selling smartphone brand in Southeast Asia too

Sales and discounts on a wide assortment of devices made Xiaomi the best-selling smartphone brand in the Philippines during 11.11. However, the brand is not only successful in the country. It also reigned supreme in the whole of Southeast Asia for both Lazada and Shopee e-commerce platforms.

Xiaomi is no stranger to becoming the best-selling smartphone brand during a massive sales event. During last year’s 11.11 sale event in the Philippines, the brand also outranked others to the top. Furthermore, the brand also topped the list for Southeast Asia’s best-selling smartphone brands during the previous 9.9 sale event.
