It’s not only the Honor 7X that’s freeing itself from China. The recently launched Honor V10 also found its way to the international market as it sets foot in Europe.

The Honor V10 (also marketed as the View 10) is a premium midranger that follows the trend of new 5.99-inch Full HD+ and 18:9 aspect ratio displays. What makes the V10 special is the high-end specs that match those of flagship devices but at a lower price point.

It’s powered by the latest Kirin 970 AI-driven processor with the new Mali-G72 graphics chip complementing its incredible performance in gaming. It also comes with a generous 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage.

The cameras on the V10 are also one of its selling points, which are pretty similar to the Huawei Mate 10’s dual camera setup, but without the Leica branding. It has a main 16-megapixel color sensor and a secondary 20-megapixel monochrome unit for improving low-light capture and dramatic black-and-white stills. A 13-megapixel front camera handles the selfies.

The thickness of the phone measures only 6.97mm, but Honor was able to give it a large 3750mAh battery which would easily last more than a day of regular use. The phone boots the latest EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android Oreo.

The Honor V10 will retail for EUR 499 or GBP 449 as its launch price and will be ready for the general European market and Russia starting January 8. It’ll be available in navy blue and midnight black.
