This mysterious phone could be the Realme XT Pro
Here’s everything we know so far
We’ve already heard a lot from Realme in the last few weeks and we’d expect there to be a calm period now. But the brand has highly motivated ambitions and there’s no stopping them. They’ve already launched the Realme 5 series, revealed the Realme XT, are launching a Q-series phone in international markets, and now we have a mysterious phone leaking out.
A benchmark test has revealed some specifications of the alleged Realme XT Pro and it’ll be a high-end phone. The brand has focused on the affordable and midrange price brackets so far but intends to slowly climb the ladder.
Even the purported Realme XT Pro will sport a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup, consisting of a primary Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor. The array will also include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field-of-view, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The phone is said to have a Samsung-built AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The screen will have a water-drop style notch and incorporate a fingerprint scanner.
Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 730G processor, paired with 8GB LPPDD4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. This would put the phone directly in competition of the Redmi K20.
The battery is rated at 4000mAh with support for 30W VOOC fast charging, up from the 20W we are used to seeing from other Realme devices.
Realme is embroiled in a ugly war with Xiaomi and India is an ideal battleground. The latter is expected to launch the Redmi Note 8 Pro in the country within the next eight weeks, right before the shopping festival of Diwali.

New leak reveals first look at Samsung’s wide foldable
It looks like there’s only one book-style foldable this year.
Coming in just a heartbeat, Samsung will unveil the next foldables during the upcoming Unpacked event. The spotlight, naturally, lands on the rumored wide foldable. Now, we don’t have an official look yet, but a new leak is spoiling that for us.
Leaked by Android Headlines, the upcoming foldable, purportedly named the Galaxy Z Fold 8, looks as advertised. The brand’s first wide foldable takes a few inches off the top to deliver a, literally, wide resolution for more display real estate.
There’s not much to say about the specs, but the model does have a camera setup with two shooters. It will also be available in three colorway options: black, white, and lavender. A limited-edition green variant might also make an appearance.
Among the scheduled devices this coming Unpacked, the wide foldable is the main event. Plus, the new leak reveals that a regular Fold isn’t debuting with this batch. Rather, Samsung might go all-in on the wide foldable format.
If that’s not your style, the leak also unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip 8. The new model doesn’t look different from the usual Flips that we’re used to, so it’s not a big headline.
Finally, the leak reveals the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Watch Ultra 2.
It won’t be long before we see these devices for real. Samsung has officially scheduled the next Galaxy Unpacked event for July 22.
