Due to their diminutive size, the Apple AirPods (or any brand of other wireless earbuds) are always frightening to use. You can accidentally drop them down the drain while commuting. A thief can easily snatch them straight from your ears. Though these are irrational phobias, wielding a tiny device definitely poses its own set of risks. However, in the United States, the absolute worst has happened. A man has accidentally swallowed his AirPods while asleep.

In Massachusetts, a man, Bradford Gauthier, suddenly experienced pain and discomfort in this throat after falling asleep while wearing AirPods, as reported by local news outlet WWLP. When he woke up, he couldn’t drink liquids or eat any food. Coincidentally, he was missing one AirPod when he woke up. A family member jokingly suggested that he might have swallowed one of them, prompting him to go to the hospital just in case.

True enough, his physician found his AirPod lodged in his esophagus. Thankfully, the wearable was easy enough to take out. It didn’t require any serious medical procedures.

Regardless, the incident introduces one of the worst-case scenarios for the wearable technology. If you’re not careful, you can potentially end up with an AirPod in a location where you don’t want one.

The 10000mAh power bank includes is own retractable cable, so users won’t have to purchase another separate USB cable.

Meanwhile, the hybrid power charger acts as both a wall charger and power bank. Users can plug it to power outlets for a quick 30W charge.

But when they have to bring the accessory with them, it also stores 5000mAh power to keep devices charged.

Aside from the two new offerings, customers can also enjoy VOLTME’s full lineup of fast chargers, power banks, cables, and mobile accessories.

The HAKO series power supply, which is capable of charging up to nine devices at once and with a 600W total output, is also in display at the VOLTME kiosk.
