POCO M3 Pro 5G launches with 5000mAh battery, Dimensity 700 SoC
An affordable option with 5G connectivity!
The POCO M3 Pro is an affordable phone that also brings along 5G connectivity, a huge battery, and a triple rear camera setup. It shares a lot in common with the Redmi Note 10 5G but gets a unique design featuring a different two-tone back panel finish.
On the front is a 6.5-inch LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Powering the POCO M3 Pro is a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor with at least 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. A fingerprint scanner is located on the side for authentication.
The rear consists of a triple camera setup consisting of a 48-megapixel sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, an 8-megapixel camera is located within a punch-hole cut-out.
Backing these internals is a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It ships with MIUI 12 out-of-the-box and houses some nifty tricks like NFC, IR blaster, and Bluetooth 5.1.
The device will be available at an early bird price of €159 (US$ 194) for the 4GB+64GB option and €179 (US$ 219) for the 6GB+128GB variant. The POCO M3 Pro 5G will go on sale in various European markets via POCO’s website, AliExpress, Amazon, and other e-commerce sites from May 20.
Phone launches have slowed down in the last few weeks as the second wave of Coronavirus rages across South East Asia. However, despite the challenges, phone makers are churning out new devices as quickly as possible in a bid to meet the ever-rising demand.
