Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners to join Guilty Gear -Strive-
Part of Season Pass 4 updates
In a historic first, CD Projekt RED and Arc System Works have announced that Cyberpunk: Edgerunners’ Lucy will be joining Guilty Gear -Strive- as the franchise’s first ever guest character.
The announcement was made during the final day of EVO 2024, where the fighting game has long been a mainstay. The game developer also released a trailer showing everything coming to the game under Season Pass 4. Lucy will enter the ring as the season’s final character in 2025.
Towards the end of the trailer, one of the main Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime character was revealed. In the anime series, Lucy is a mysterious and quite introverted netrunner from Night City. She is a combat-ready hacker capable of handling herself in encounters, so it is already interesting to see how that translates to the side-scrolling fighting scene.
The skill set for Guilty Gear Lucy will be a result of a close cooperation between the game developer and the series producers from CD Projekt Red. Content release timing will be announced later this year.
Season Pass 4
Aside from Lucy’s addition, Season Pass 4 features a new online mode, new stages, and returning characters. Queen Dizzy will be available in October 2024, while Venom is due to arrive in early 2025. Also coming in 2025 is Unika of the Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers anime series.
The “Team of 3” mode will get an Open Beta Test starting July 26, 2024. As the mode’s name suggests, it will pit six players against each other in a single match via online versus. Players will fight based on their assigned roles (Main or Assist). Assists can perform various actions and skills to support Mains. Moreover, their positions can be changed during the fight.
To top it all off, there will be an additional color pack and a premium color pack consisting of 31 character colors, one for each.
-Strive-, the fighting game’s latest installment, is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

The upgrade also includes both expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, even for players who originally owned only the base game.
PC and PS5 Pro
On PC, The Witcher 3 now supports Path Tracing alongside improved textures, foliage, lighting, rendering, and ray tracing. The remaster also adds dedicated PlayStation 5 Pro support, with PSSR enabling ray tracing at 60fps and a performance mode that can reach up to 90fps with VRR.
Gameplay also gets an overhaul. CD PROJEKT RED has rebalanced the skill system, revamped combat animations, added new finishers, and introduced an adaptive camera. Geralt and Roach also receive updated animations, including more fluid traversal, vaulting, and ladder climbing.
The remaster adds cross-platform mod support through mod.io on consoles. Players can access custom content ranging from new quests and equipment to balance changes.
Switch 2
Nintendo Switch 2 gets additional features through its native version. These include motion controls, gyro aiming, mouse controls, and touchscreen support. Players can use motion controls for actions such as aiming the crossbow, throwing bombs, casting Signs, and controlling Roach. The touchscreen can also be used to navigate menus and play Gwent.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is also available to purchase on Battle.net and the Microsoft Store, where it supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
The remaster replaces the Complete Edition on supported platforms and includes Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine as standard. It was developed in close collaboration with Yigsoft.
