Flagship Find

The OPPO Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are the next line of smartphones equipped with MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 SoC based on a powerful and power-efficient 3nm process.

Much like its closest cousins, the base and Pro models of the Find X9 differ in certain aspects.

First and foremost, the Pro has the bigger 6.78-inch display. Meanwhile, the vanilla variant has a “more compact” 6.59-inch.

OPPO says though that both units boast an ultra-thin 1.15mm symmetrical bezels on all sides.

Moreover, battery capacities are also different.

The Find X9 has 7025mAh while the Find X9 Pro possess a larger 7500mAh battery.

These phones are expected to run the all-new ColorOS 16 with primary focus on silky-smooth animation, as well as smarter AI feats, seamless connectivity between PCs, Macs, and other accessories, as well as band overall user experience.

Hasselblad Legacy

Different from what OnePlus is doing, OPPO continues to strengthen its partnership with the renowned Swedish camera-maker Hasselblad.

With this continuous collaboration, both the Find X9 and X9 Pro feature the Hasselblad Camera System alongside OPPO’s all-new LUMO Image Engine.

Furthermore, the Find X9 Pro offers a 200MP telephoto camera co-developed with Hasselblad — both in sensor calibration and optical design.

Additionally, these Find models also deliver exceptional video capabilities with up to 4K / 120fps Dolby Vision support as well as LOG recording with ACES support for that seamless and professional workflow.

The Find X9 series are also concert-ready with cutting-edge telephoto optimizations such as Stage Mode and AI Sound Focus.

Bravia 3 II | Bravia Theater

Sony is expanding its home entertainment push with a new range of BRAVIA Theatre audio products and the BRAVIA 3 II TV. The lineup aims to make a full cinema-style experience more accessible. That’s true whether you’re starting with a soundbar or building a complete surround setup.

Soundbars designed to fill the room

Leading the audio lineup is the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 7, a compact yet powerful soundbar built with nine speaker units. It includes up-firing and side speakers. These work alongside Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound Mapping to create a wider, more immersive sound field from a single unit. Room calibration further optimizes audio based on your space. There are also optional subwoofers and rear speakers unlock deeper bass and fuller surround.

For a more accessible option, the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 5 offers a 3.1-channel setup with a wireless subwoofer. It focuses on delivering clear dialogue and strong bass, using S-Force PRO Front Surround and Vertical Surround Engine to simulate a three-dimensional listening experience.

Both soundbars support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, integrate with compatible BRAVIA TVs for unified control, and can be managed via the BRAVIA Connect app.

Expanding the surround experience

Sony is also introducing a set of optional speakers designed to complete the home cinema setup. The BRAVIA Theatre Sub 9 and Sub 8 deliver deep, room-filling bass, with the Sub 9 featuring dual opposing drivers to reduce distortion. Notably, the lineup now supports dual subwoofer configurations for the first time.

Meanwhile, the BRAVIA Theatre Rear 9 adds height and depth to rear channels through its up-firing speaker. This helps create a more convincing surround environment when paired with compatible soundbars.

A bigger screen to match

Alongside the audio products, Sony is rolling out the BRAVIA 3 II, a mid-tier TV available in sizes up to 100 inches. Powered by the XR Processor and XR Triluminos Pro, it aims to deliver natural colors, strong contrast, and refined detail.

The TV supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X, and is also positioned as a capable gaming display. It comes with 4K at 120Hz and four HDMI 2.1 ports. Sony is also introducing a new Inclusive Remote with improved button layout and a Remote Finder feature for easier accessibility.

Price and availability

In Singapore, the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 7 will be available starting May 2026. Suggested retail price is SGD 1,299. Meanwhile, the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 5 follows in June 2026 at SGD 599.

The BRAVIA Theatre Sub 9, Sub 8, and Rear 9 will arrive in July 2026, priced at SGD 1,099, SGD 799, and SGD 899, respectively.

The BRAVIA 3 II TV will be available from June 2026 in sizes ranging from 43 inches to 100 inches, with pricing starting at SGD 1,499.

‘Future of Play’: Razer introduces AI-powered tech for developers

Developer-focused technologies introduced at GDC 2026 showcase

Published

on

Razer has introduced some of its developer-focused technologies at the GDC Festival 2026 during its “Future of Play” showcase.

They are the Razer AVA, Razer QA Companion-AI, and Razer Adaptive Immersive Experience. This unified AI-powered infrastructure spans software, hardware, and multi-sensory immersion.

With the global games market projected to climb to US$ 206.5 billion by 2028, studios are leveraging AI to build faster and maintain quality at the speed of release.

As such, Razer’s GDC 2026 showcase focuses on three new solutions that keep human creators in control while removing friction across the development pipeline.

Razer AVA introduces new agentic capabilities that translate user intent into goal-driven, multi-step workflows across apps, services, and devices.

It was first revealed as Project AVA last year, and later re-introduced as a 5.5-inch animated 3D hologram desk companion at CES 2026.

Now, it has more agentic capabilities, understanding goals, planning tasks, and taking action on behalf of a user. That’s across apps, services, and devices.

Meanwhile, Razer QA Companion-AI is a zero-integration, vision-based QA with automated bug detection, reproduction steps, and AI-generated test cases.

The new capabilities accelerate QA workflows by increasing automation, improving report completeness, and reducing manual effort for testers.

Key enhancements include:

  • Zero-integration deployment
  • AI Test Case Generation
  • Vision-based Bug Detection
  • AI Gameplay Agents
  • Easy onboarding

Lastly, the Razer Adaptive Immersive Experience provides an intelligent multi-sensory runtime that unifies designer-authored effects with real-time adaptive haptics, lighting, and audio.

It pairs a plug-and-play effects library with runtime-generated haptics and lighting. This reduces integration and tuning time to as little as three days, giving developers a faster and more consistent way to deliver high-quality experiences without added production overhead.

Together, these pillars showcase Razer’s commitment to building the overall gaming infrastructure that spans different aspects to elevate immersive gaming even further.
