Reelist8 has launched its AI-powered real estate ecosystem. It aims to ease the country’s housing affordability gap by offering qualified buyers a path to homeownership with as little as 0.5% equity.

The DOST-backed fintech introduced its platform during the Philippine Startup Week community event “Unlock Reelist8 – Housing Liquidity in the Age of AI” at Acceler8 Legaspi in Makati.

Reelist8’s new suite combines PropertyAuctions.ph and Buildin.com.ph. PropertyAuctions.ph lets buyers and investors find and bid on below-market deals through online auctions. Buildin.com.ph serves contractors and designers with a project management tool that converts floor plans into instant priced takeoffs.

A fireside chat anchored the program, moderated by COO Borj de Borja with panelists Anna Feo, Alma Concepcion, and Ynez Veneracion. They discussed investment strategies and audience-focused marketing in today’s fast-shifting property landscape.

Reelist8 will host a free online workshop on November 21, 2025, featuring demos of PropertyAuctions.ph for buyers and investors, and Buildin.com.ph for contractors and designers. Registration is available through Luma, with more information at Reelist8.com and on the company’s social channels.

Playoff games through the conference finals shall also be streamed live and on demand.

Meanwhile, the UFC is among some of the new regular sports programs Filipinos can watch on Disney+.

The action kicks off at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi scheduled on October 25, where two world championship titles are expected to be on the line: UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski takes on undefeated No. 1-ranked contender Movsar Evloev, and UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan defends against former champion and No. 1-ranked Merab Dvalishvili.

Alongside live UFC numbered events and UFC Fight Nights, fans will have access to a library of classic fights and curated UFC content.

TNT wins gold at SMARTIES Philippines

Ed Caluag campaign earns marketing award

Published

TNT, the value brand of Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart), has won gold at SMARTIES Philippines for its collaboration with paranormal investigator and content creator Ed Caluag.

The campaign won in the Creator/Influencer/Celebrity Marketing (Impact Marketing) category. SMARTIES Philippines recognizes innovative marketing campaigns that deliver meaningful impact for brands and businesses.

Launched in February 2026, the campaign was developed with Ace Saatchi & Saatchi, with Wavemaker Philippines under WPP Media serving as the media agency. It used Caluag’s popular ghost-hunting content to highlight TNT’s mobile network performance through a humorous take on network lag.

In the campaign video, Caluag investigates paranormal activity while livestreaming inside a haunted house. His encounters with ghosts are repeatedly interrupted by lag, frustrating both Caluag and the spirits. The unexpected twist turns a common mobile connectivity issue into an entertaining story.

The campaign drew on TNT’s recognition for having the Best Mobile Latency in the Philippines in the Ookla Speedtest Awards. By placing the technical benefit of low latency in a familiar entertainment setting, TNT made the network feature more relatable to mobile users.

“This recognition reflects how we continue to find fresh and engaging ways to bring TNT’s brand promise to life. By combining the authenticity and entertainment value of creator content with the strength of our network, we were able to turn a common frustration into a story that Filipinos could relate to and enjoy,” said Lloyd R. Manaloto, FVP and OIC for Smart.

The campaign premiered on Caluag’s digital platforms before expanding across Meta, Google, YouTube, and TikTok. It generated more than 659 million impressions, extending its reach among mobile-first Filipinos.

The SMARTIES Gold adds to TNT’s efforts to combine its entertainment-focused brand personality with messages about its products and services. The campaign also highlights how creator partnerships can help translate technical features into accessible, engaging stories.

The recognition comes as TNT and Smart continue to expand their 5G network across the Philippines. Smart also recently received Ookla’s Best Mobile Video Experience award in the country, recognizing its performance in delivering mobile video experiences for streaming, entertainment, and other digital activities.
