Immortals Fenyx Rising

You might not be too hyped for this game but this trailer might change your mind. Immortals Fenyx Rising (formerly known as Gods & Monsters) is a fun new take on Greek Mythology. You play the role of Fenyx — a new winged demigod who’s on a quest to save the Greek gods and their home from a dark curse.

This short animation film created by CLM BBDO shows Fenyx battling epic creatures. He tussles against the Minotaur, the Cyclop and the Griffin while How You Like Me Now by The Heavy insolently plays in the background.

Using the Sword of Achilles, Axe of Atalanta, and Bow of Odysseus, Fenyx defeats the monsters one after the other. Each battle she wins dents the rock and, as huge boulders detach from the summit, she ends up shaping the mountain… and her myth!

Watch it here!

Immortals Fenyx Rising takes grand mythological adventure to new heights. Only by mastering the legendary powers of the gods, overcoming heroic trials and confronting powerful mythological beasts, will Fenyx be able to take on Typhon, the deadliest Titan in Greek mythology.

It will be available on December 3, 2020 on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One family of devices (including the Xbox One X), Nintendo Switc, Epic Games and Ubisoft Connect. The game will also be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Apple’s MacBook Air M1 processor scores more than 1 million on AnTuTu

First to cross the 1 million mark

Apple recently launched the new MacBooks that come equipped with a proprietary processor. Dubbed the M1, it’s based on ARM-architecture and hence meant to be mobile yet more powerful. Compared to a conventional Intel processor, the M1 is far more efficient and can perform at mind-boggling speeds.

Benchmarking app AnTuTu is widely used worldwide to push a processor to its limit and translate raw performance into easily understandable figures. The M1 chipset has been spotted on the, and it has scored more than a million.

To be precise, the MacBook Air manages to achieve 1,119,243 points that include a CPU score of 282,265, GPU score of 538,944, MEM score of 189,921, and UX score of 108,113.

The next best performer is the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (fourth generation), and the M1 performed almost 50 percent faster. It’s worth noting that the test sample for MacBook Air tests is tiny as the iPad’s results are based on thousands of tests.

The M1 processor becomes the first one to breach the 1 million mark on AnTuTu. There are multiple factors behind M1’s performance, though. It uses a 5nm production process, similar to the latest A14 chip in the iPhone 12. Meanwhile, Intel’s latest 11th-generation CPUs use a 10-nanometer production process.

Adding to this, the ARM-architecture is inherently more efficient since it’s designed for mobile devices. The new M1 processor can run apps designed for iOS and macOS, opening up a new world of an integrated app ecosystem that’s highly flexible and robust. As an added benefit, iPhone and iPad apps can now run directly on the M1-powered Macs.
