The Philippines’ fastest EV chargers just went live in Makati City

Featuring 240 kW SuperFast and 480 kW UltraFast charging speeds, powered by 100% renewable energy.

ACMobility, the country’s leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has unveiled its most powerful chargers yet, featuring 240 kW SuperFast and 480 kW UltraFast charging speeds.

The newest charging stations are nestled at the Corinthians Carpark in Makati City. Meanwhile, a second site at the Leviste Carpark is also coming soon.

This rollout is in partnership with the Makati Commercial Estate Association (MACEA) and Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI), further boosting Makati’s role as a leader in sustainable, future-ready transport.

Supercharged for real-world use

The Corinthians Carpark station offers nine charging slots, including four 240 kW chargers (with dual connectors) and one 480 kW UltraFast charger — the fastest of its kind in the Philippines.

With the right vehicle, you could get a full charge in just 10 to 15 minutes.

Designed with smart cooling systems and 1000-amp air-cooled cables, the site is ready to handle everything from compact EVs to larger vehicles like mini buses.

There’s even a pull-through slot for EVs that need more space.

Smarter charging, on the go

These new chargers are fully integrated with Evro, ACMobility’s all-in-one app that lets users locate stations, start and stop sessions, track progress, and pay — all from your phone. Evro also notifies users of promos, new locations, and service updates.

Charging rates start at PhP 35 per kWh, with discounts of up to 20% for members. For more flexible access, ACMobility also offers Power-on-Wheels (POW) — mobile DC fast chargers that roam key areas like Makati, Taguig, and Mandaluyong, with more cities coming soon.

Makati is leading the EV charge

With over 70 active charging points across 16 locations, and plans to grow that to 100 by the end of 2025, Makati is now the most EV-ready city in ACMobility’s network.

It’s part of the company’s nationwide goal to install more than 700 charging points before the year ends.

In a step toward cleaner energy, the chargers at Corinthians Carpark run on 100% renewable energy — thanks to a new partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions, part of the Ayala Group.

This means every charge comes from solar, wind, or geothermal energy, all enabled by the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Option Program (GEOP).

Building the Philippine EV Spine

This Makati launch is a major milestone in ACMobility’s bigger mission: building the Philippine EV Spine — a national network of fast-charging stations that connects cities and communities. The company currently operates more than 90 sites, with over 30 more expected to go live by June.

Xiaomi EV has just made a historic automotive milestone, with a pilotless Xiaomi YU7 GT completing a lap at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit on its own.

Equipped with the brand’s premium Track Package, the EV conquered one of the most brutal racetracks on the planet without a human driving it, clocking a certified lap time of 10:29.483 across the grueling 20.8 km loop.

The achievement validates the comprehensive capabilities of Xiaomi’s autonomous driving system under dynamic conditions. At the same time, it demonstrates the potential unlocked through the deep integration of AI and advanced vehicle control technologies.

This historic run is the culmination of years of machine learning development. Xiaomi first debuted its Hyper Autonomous Driving (HAD) system back in 2024, but the real breakthrough came earlier this year.

In March 2026, Xiaomi rolled out a next-generation platform driven by its new Xiaomi XLA architecture and the advanced MiMo-Embodied foundation model.

With enhanced understanding and reasoning capabilities, the new system further improves its ability to interpret complex environments, dynamic traffic participants, and vehicle states.

The driving system is built on an end-to-end architecture and vehicle dynamics model, enabling real-time perception of vehicle states and road conditions.

It makes control decisions through dynamic prediction, and continuously coordinates steering, braking, and power delivery to maintain vehicle stability.

Such system accelerates the evolution of autonomous driving from behavior imitation to deeper environmental understanding and autonomous decision-making.

Taming the “Green Hell” with AI

Conquering the Nordschleife is no small feat for a human racing driver, let alone software.

The track is widely regarded as the ultimate proving ground for vehicle development due to its punishing layout: 73 distinct corners, roughly 300 meters of radical elevation changes, wildly inconsistent grip levels, and zero room for error.

During the certified high-speed time trial, Xiaomi’s autonomous system successfully navigated every single one of these complex hazards in real time.
