Apple just announced another big event in November

One more thing.

Published

So, have you had enough Apple for this year? With the number of online events within the past few months, Apple is truly embracing the digital event industry with a passion. Last month, we saw the bombastic rise of the iPhone 12 series. Apparently, however, Apple is not done. In a surprise twist, Apple just announced another big event in November.

Today, we received an official invite for the Apple event aptly named “One more thing.” Over the years, Apple has historically owned the phrase as a way to reveal a tiny surprise during events. It doesn’t come as a surprise that this latest one carries the same catchphrase.

That said, what can Apple possibly reveal during the November launch? The invite’s graphic is even more enigmatic than usual: just a chromatic flash behind Apple’s logo.

Of course, there are a few possibilities given previous reports and rumors. For one, Apple can reveal their very first ARM-based Macs and MacBooks. Back in June’s WWDC event, the company confirmed the eventual move away from Intel-based chips but did not announce any definitive products yet.

Another possibility is the unannounced iPhone SE Plus. Back in April, Apple announced the widely successful iPhone SE (2020). The new budget-friendly iPhone, however, sparked some rumors about a second variant with better specs and an attractive price tag. Due to the version’s absence in April, analysts suggest that the iPhone SE Plus was delayed to 2021.

A third possibility involves the also-rumored AirPods Studio. Like the iPhone SE Plus, analysts speculated on the device’s existence, an over-ear version of Apple’s ubiquitous AirPods.

Then again, amidst all the possibilities, Apple could throw a curveball and announce something entirely different. The Apple event is scheduled for November 10, 10 am PST and will again stream online at Apple.com.

OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite

OnePlus might be starting off the year with a minus-one from their ranks. Taiwan has issued an arrest warrant for the brand’s CEO Pete Lau for allegedly employing Taiwanese workers illegally.

It’s a shocker of a headline in the first few weeks of 2026. According to Taiwan News, Lau created a new company in Hong Kong with two conspirators surnamed Lin and Cheng. The company was allegedly a shell company to expand OnePlus operations elsewhere. It eventually established a branch in Taiwan.

Between 2015 and 2021, the company supposedly shipped around US$ 72.93 million to the Taiwanese branch for the staff recruitment of over 70 engineers from the country. According to Lin and Cheng, who have both been charged by Taiwanese courts already, the Taiwan branch’s purpose was only to conduct research and development for OnePlus. Others have also alleged that the branch developed software for both OnePlus and OPPO.

As such, Taiwan has issued a warrant for Pete Lau. Because of the long-standing tensions between Taiwan and China, Lau is facing a heavy issue. Both his alleged conspirators have been charged with violations of the Cross-Strait Act, which pertains to the relationship between the two countries.
