After teasing the possible early announcement of the new ZenFone 5 series, ASUS just confirmed that they will unveil their smartphones during Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona.

The company scheduled an event on February 27 which will happen during MWC 2018. The launch has a campaign hashtag of #BackTo5 because we already have a ZenFone 5 from 2014, which is ASUS’ first ZenFone. Also, the new phones are arriving just five months after the ZenFone 4 series hit the market.

Some rumors suggest that we might see at least three devices — the ZenFone 5, ZenFone 5 Lite, and ZenFone 5 Max.

Not many details were disclosed from the official invite aside from the phones being powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. We’ll just have to wait for February 27 at 7:30PM for the official announcement.
