If you read articles on GadgetMatch.com, watch our videos on YouTube, or are always on our Facebook page – you’re probably no stranger to our Holiday Scavenger Hunt where we’ve been giving away one smartphone every week and will continue to do so until the first week of 2017.
What if we told you we aren’t done yet!
Yep! On December 23rd when we announce the winner of the Week 5’s prize the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, we will also be giving away $1500 worth of gadgets and gizmos – including some favorites from our Holiday Gift Guide.
When we began this project, we sought out to feature products that we would not only pick out for those dearest to us, but also gadgets we would love to receive ourselves. And we spent hours shopping, both online and offline.
Everything featured below was hand picked by someone from the GadgetMatch team. And we’re thrilled to be giving away at least one of everything during our Christmas Facebook special on December 23rd.
To be eligible to win you need to:

We love it when people come up with innovative ways to solve today’s problems. Phone cases are meant to save phones from accidental drops. But what if there was something that could save your phone from being dropped in the first place? Enter Ungrip – a strap for your phone that gives you a more secure way of holding onto it. We’ve been using it for a few months now and we haven’t dropped our phone yet!
Nomad Battery Wallet
The holy grail of smartphone design is a battery that can last a full day of heavy use. Until that’s achieved though we pretty much stuck with lugging around power banks. That’s why we think the Nomad Leather battery wallet is an amazing idea – made of genuine leather, these wallets come with a built in power bank and lightning cable. The slim model (featured above) has enough power to fully charge a dead iPhone, has 4 credit card slots, a storage pouch, and RFID blocking technology to protect you from high tech identity theft.
When we found them online, we immediately fell in love with Native Union’s entire product line. This is a brand that values design and function and its pretty evident in their lineup of iPhone accessories. Take for example their Night Cable; 3 meters long so you can use in bed, made of braided nylon that’s much more durable than the one Apple makes, and with a weighted knot designed to prevent it from dropping to the floor. They have iPhone cases made of a beautiful selection of materials – marble, wood, and leather. And a lightning cable built into a leather tag that’s so luxurious it would look good even on a Birkin.
We first found out about Nillkin while shopping for smartphone cases, we especially love the texture finish of their frosted shield cases, which they make for a wide range of smartphone models (not just iPhones and Galaxy S7s). They make other accessories too including their upcoming PlayVox bluetooth speakers. While bluetooth speakers are pretty common we liked these because they’re rugged, ultra portable, waterproof, and have NFC built-in for one tap pairing.
One of our favorite gadget stores in the Philippines, we love that Digital Walker is a one stop shop for thoughtfully curated tech from around the world. Apart from Native Union and Nomad accessories, they also sell Sphero’s Sprk+ – the perfect starter kit for kids wanting to get into programming and robotics; Jaybird Freedom Wireless – one of our favorite sports headphones in terms of build and audio quality; GameVice – console style controllers for your iPhone or iPad; and Ye!! Stellar+ which are bluetooth speakers that double as night lights.
