GadgetMatch Finds: What’s in our cart for the 6.6 sale
From smartphones, laptops to kitchen and PlayStation needs

Is it June again? Well yes, it is. Half of 2021 is already done, and with it comes another half for many to fulfill the goals they set at the start of the year. June is also the month for the biggest 6.6 sale, with many brands offering discounts for their products.
So, what great finds will we add to our cart next? Find out below for the devices (and other products) that we think is a good deal that you shouldn’t miss!
Smartphones / Feature Phones
1. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE
Galaxy S20 FE is technically a “flagship killer” since it has flagship specs at a more affordable price. Really, you are not missing anything big with this smartphone especially if you want all the bells and whistles of the Galaxy S20 (or, the Galaxy S21). A capable triple camera, blazing-fast processor, IP 68 certification, and OLED display are some of the specs that you can enjoy without having to pay too much. On top of it all, you can get this at a much lower price since it has been in the market for many months now.
2. Nokia 225 4G
Most of us do remember the time when the Nokia’s feature phones were once dominant before being replaced by (boring) black smartphone slabs. However, feature phones are not totally gone yet — as a matter of fact, there is still a market for these phones. Nokia’s 225 4G is one of the latest feature phones in the market, featuring 4G connectivity to bring it up to the times. It also has a camera, but not exactly the one you will love to take photos with.
3. realme Narzo 20
Budget gaming smartphone is a loaded term, and one that companies do love to bring up for more sales. However, realme delivered exactly that with the Narzo 20. It keeps up with most games, and the best part: the battery lasts as long due to the rated 6,000 mAh figure. Granted, there are comprises which include so-so cameras and a 720p-only display. But these are minor annoyances, especially when you find out that this retails below PhP 10,000. Now that’s a steal, for sure.
Laptops / Tablets
1. iPad Air
Need a tablet? You can’t go wrong with the iPad Air. It’s still easily the best tablet, bar none. Plus, it is also the better choice for anyone who don’t see any value with the extra oomph that the iPad Pro provides. Even this late 2020 WiFi model delivers on performance, sufficing for most users who are a creative professional or those who just want a bigger screen for entertainment.
3. MSI GF63 Thin
PC Gaming on a budget? Here’s one that you might want to consider. MSI has long been known for their gaming machine and this one is a baseline offering for those keen on getting something made for gaming.
Accessories & Peripherals
1. TP-Link Tapo P100 Mini Smart Plug / Smart Wi-Fi Socket
Whether you’re on-the-go or you’re just the type of person who always forgets to unplug devices when leaving the house, this smart plug might just be your next best investment.
3. Mofii Candy XR Keyboard / Mouse
Home Appliances
1. Cuppa CEM-101 20″ bar Personal Espresso Machine Coffee Maker
A good day starts with good coffee. Have your own espresso machine and start your day blissfully.
2. Kyowa KW-3815 Air Fryer 7.0L
Health is an investment — which is why you need to start cooking healthy meals and reduce your calorie intake.
3. Samsung 23L Microwave Oven with Dial and Tact Control
Some days, we don’t have enough time to cook our meals. But it doesn’t mean you can’t prepare your food in advance and heat it when you need it in a microwave oven.
Gaming Essentials
1) Sony PlayStation Days of Play
This isn’t technically part of the 6.6 but the days overlap so we’re counting it anyway. Loads of PlayStation deals whether you’re on PS4 or the next (current) gen PS5.
More details here.
2) OTVO Multifunctional Cooling Stand for PS5
A must have for PS5 owners, this is a simple and clean way to keep your PS5 and its accompanying peripherals stored nicely and kept cool while you play.
3) Media Remote for PlayStation 5
Speaking of accessories, you don’t always have to play on your PS5. Sometimes you can just kick back, relax, and Netflix and chill. Here’s an accessory to help with that experience.
