The following is intended for readers 18+

Netflix has a variety of shows that you can enjoy: From romantic comedies that make you blush to thriller films that make your heart race. Common knowledge, but Netflix also has a lot of TV series with steamy sex scenes.

Below are six shows on Netflix with sexy scenes. If you’re looking for a show that’ll give you a wild, hookup idea or make you drool over someone, you’ve come (pun not intended) to the right place. And oh, there are spoilers ahead so read at your own risk.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones

Marvel’s Jessica Jones has the thrill you’re looking for — crimes, investigation, murder, and wild sex scenes. Its season 3 may have a lot of sexy scenes, but nothing can beat the first episodes in its first season.

I mean, come on! Luke Cage and Jessica Jones — two powerful superhumans — thrusting while moaning hard, and breaking the bed? That’s WILD.

Riverdale

Sure, it’s all about murders in Riverdale town, but teens from Riverdale are so hormonal, they’re also obsessed with sex. Some of the hottest scenes are from Season 3, Episode 5 (15:00) where Veronica uses her connections to get to Archie — and have sex in the locker room.

Another is from Season 4, Episode 2 (04:00) when Betty and Jughead started making out in front of Archie and Veronica. At first, you’ll think it’s going to be a foursome, but the two had their one-on-one session in another room instead.

Elite

Another teen series starring some of the casts from the popular La Casa de Papel, Elite follows three teenagers who transferred to an elite school. If you think this is some high school drama, you’re kidding yourself. It has a lot of murder, alcohol, party, and of course, sex.

Starting with Season 1, Episode 1 (20:40, 41:43) where a shower and bed scene happened while the couples were being watched. Then, there’s Season 1, Episode 3 (47:41) where a threesome between two guys and a girl happened, and Season 2 Episode 2 (38:28) where two guys did the deed while someone beside them is sleeping.

Orange is the New Black

Orange is the New Black has a lot of girl on girl scenes, obviously because the show took place in a women’s prison. The show follows Piper Kerman’s memoir when she was indicted for money-laundering and drug-trafficking.

One of the hottest scenes in the show was between Alex Vause and Piper Chapman. At Season 3, Episode 2 (54:08), Alex and Piper had a “fight” that led to pushing, grabbing, and a hair-pulling sex scene. There was a lot of strength and aggression.

Sense8

Sense8 might be a sci-fi drama revolving around the theme of “connection,” with lots of superhuman powers but its sex scenes are abundant. At the finale of Season 1 and during the first episode of Season 2, an orgy happened. Most of the scenes were shown in unrealistic places like inside a toilet cubicle.

Sense8 is filled with steamy sex scenes that might make you want to stay away from your favorite adult sites. Maybe you can just use this as a buffer for your date night. You can really get them in the mood with the show’s intriguing plot and steamy scenes.

Bodyguard

What’s hotter than having a relationship with someone you’re not supposed to be with? Say, someone older than you, your client, or probably your direct superior at work? At Bodyguard, fans reveled at the sexual tension between the hot bodyguard David Budd and hot politician Julia Montague.

In the second and third episodes, the sexual tension hit a fever pitch with fear and anger becoming one of the driving forces for both David and Julia to do the deed — even though it’s going to get things complicated. Also, nothing sounds sexier than hearing someone as hot as David being polite while humping you on a desk.

Bonus: The Witcher

The Witcher has been the talk of the town lately — from memes to incredible fight scenes, and its nudity. Almost every episode has it, but the scene between Istredd and Yennefer at Episode 3 is something to watch out for. *wink emoji*

Finding the right show to Netflix & Chill to

Identifying a scene as hot, wild, and steamy is purely subjective. Some shows might be hot for you, some might not. However, the key to enjoying these shows is to watch and dive into the story. Follow the plot and understand the dynamics between the characters.

The plot is integral since it builds sexual tension. And honestly, we’re always pumped in those moments where we can’t wait for the characters to “just do it.” 😏

5 lessons we learned from ‘Crash Landing on You’

Let’s value offline connection

Published

Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t watched Crash Landing on You, please read with caution.

After a fantastic finalé, popular K-drama Crash Landing on You got me crashing down with emotions. Apart from the giggles, tears, and laughter, the beloved TV series brought unexpected nuggets of wisdom. Lo and behold, here are lessons from the hit show that everyone should remember.

Life without social media is great

When Yoon-Seri crash-landed into North Korea, she was totally bewildered. While the show is a fictitious attempt to portray the country, we all know from the books they’re totally isolated from the rest of the world.

Some of the basic necessities we enjoy are scarce, and they don’t have social media. But even though none of them enjoy these platforms we use to communicate, you can see that people have genuine interactions with each other.

When we’re hung up on social media, we rarely look around our surroundings. It’s time to appreciate the little things we have. For instance, the way the sunlight fills an entire room with warmth, or how the cold breeze in the morning hugs us while we sip hot coffee.

Cherish a disconnected life, connect with more people

What I love about Crash Landing on You is the banter between its characters. There may be no technology involved (and even if there was in Seoul), a lot of them stay connected with each other — not with the internet.

There were no distractions when they eat their meals; they share stories, burst into waves of laughter, and enjoy time with each other. With technology getting in the way we connect with our loved ones, maybe it’s time to bond the way the characters did in Crash Landing on You — disconnected online, but with a genuine connection offline.

Technology really made our lives easier

When Yoon Se-Ri and Ri Jeong Hyeok’s friends were sent to Seoul to bring back their captain, they’re filled with amazement. Even after going back, they missed how life was more convenient in Seoul. Back there, they didn’t have to wait for electricity to come back, and water flows freely.

Presently, homes are now protected with a security pass — which you can unlock with a code or your biometrics. You can turn off the lights when you clap your hands, too. Coffee machines are also here to serve us coffee, without grinding beans for god-knows-how-long.

Seeing the difference in the show’s portrayal of North and South Korea, you’d be grateful that we live in a world where technology is welcome and embraced.

We all need a strong support system

To survive in this world, we all need a strong support system. Your friends are important in navigating your life — connected or not. Crash Landing on You taught us that our friends are here and life’s easier when you have people around you. From Ri Jeong Hyeok’s men to Ajummas cheering Yoon Se-Ri, the right people really do bring the best in us.

There may be times when life seems unfair and struggles can be overbearing, but when you have people to lean on, you can survive anything.

Don’t be afraid to love again

In an age where romance and dating are complicated, people easily shy away from love altogether. I mean, it’s better to guard yourself up and not get hurt, right? But if we do that, we’re missing the spark and joy of life. If you’re afraid of the pain, remember that getting hurt is one of the risks of love.

Yoon Se-Ri and Ri Jeong Hyeok taught us the right person is always worth the risk. The amount of love we’re getting back will take away all the tears we shed. So if you feel like giving up on love, don’t. The universe is pulling all the strings for you. Magic is about to happen, just hang in there.

Bonus: Trust the universe

Lastly, live your life to the fullest. Trust that God, the universe, and other heavenly beings are working in your favor. After all, they’re true. It wasn’t a coincidence I watched Crash Landing on You. It was destiny. I was meant to learn from these lessons and share them with you.

The Witcher is getting an anime film on Netflix!

To be created by the animators of Legend of Korra

Published

Netflix is on a roll lately! For the past week, the streaming service has consistently announced new titles that everyone has been clamoring for. Soon, we’re getting the Studio Ghibli collection and the very first Pokémon film remastered in CGI.

Today, Netflix has announced a quick follow-up to last year’s most iconic debuting show, The Witcher. In partnership with the renowned animators at Studio Mir, The Witcher showrunner Lauren Hissrich will return to the world of the series in a new anime film.

According to an official statement from Netflix, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf will deal with “a new threat facing the Continent.” However, Hissrich has not confirmed who will star in the new film yet. From a tweet, the showrunner has kept the anime film a secret for over a year now. Presumably, the film will follow the events of the original series. At the very least, it should belong in the same universe.

Likewise, neither Netflix or Hissrich has confirmed the film’s premiere date.

On the production side, partnering animators Studio Mir created the acclaimed Legend of Korra in the past. The studio has also helmed the Netflix original, Voltron: Legendary Defender.

The Witcher follows the adventures of Geralt (Henry Cavill), a superhuman hunter, in a world fraught with monsters and sorcerers. Following its premier late last year, The Witcher quickly ascended the ranks as one of the most watched series on Netflix.
