OPPO Find X: Price and availability in the Philippines

After nearly a week of secrecy, OPPO has finally revealed the price of the Find X in the Philippines.

Even though they provided pre-order dates, ~~which is until August 1 with claiming of units happening on August 6~~, it’s only now we know how much you have to add to the PhP 5,000 down payment.

As expected, it’s gonna cost a bunch. The sole model with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage will retail for PhP 49,990 (US$ 835).

That’s a little lower than the official price in India, and way below the European price of EUR 999.

The available colors are Glacier Blue and Bordeaux Red, and they can be found in OPPO concept stores nationwide.

Its biggest selling point is the innovative sliding camera mechanism, but flagship-grade specs help justify the high price tag. Those include a Snapdragon 845 processor and 6.42-inch AMOLED display, on top of the aforementioned memory and storage configuration.

Update (July 24, 2018): The OPPO Find X will be available nationwide starting August 11 through OPPO concept stores and official online channels on Argomall, Lazada, and Shopee. The Find X is currently open for pre-order with units available for pickup starting August 11.
