Sony turns up the beat with ULT POWER SOUND, SB19
Sony expands its ULT POWER SOUND lineup
Sony Philippines has launched its latest ULT POWER SOUND speakers in the country. They introduced the ULT TOWER MAX, ULT TOWER 7, and ULT TOWER 5.
The new speakers were unveiled during Beyond the Beat: The Next-Level ULT POWER SOUND Experience. The event was held at COVE Manila at Okada Manila on September 19.
The event also marked the first appearance of SB19 as the newest members of Sony’s ULT Squad. They join Maki, KAIA, Jeremy G, A-Team, Carlos Serrano III, David Guison, Angelique Manto-Guison, and Jacqueline Jala.
Meet the new ULT speakers
Sony says the latest ULT POWER SOUND lineup delivers stronger low-frequency bass performance through newly developed large circular woofers, large-capacity speaker cabinets, and ULT DUCT technology.
The ULT TOWER MAX sits at the top of the new lineup. Sony describes it as offering the most powerful bass in the ULT POWER SOUND series to date.
The ULT TOWER 7 delivers stage-inspired sound in a portable design. Meanwhile, the more compact ULT TOWER 5 focuses on smaller gatherings with bass-focused audio, karaoke, and DJ features.
Guests at the launch were able to experience the speakers through several interactive zones. These included an arcade-inspired Step into the Beat area, the ULT Selfie Club, and ULT Cover Star, where guests could pair ULT Field speakers with designer pieces from Alser Lumawag.
The event also featured The Bass District for KOLs and VIP guests, as well as karaoke lounges where attendees could try out the new speakers’ party-focused features.
SB19 joins the ULT Squad
Sony also highlighted its expanded ULT Squad during the event.
SB19 made their first appearance as members of the lineup, joining a roster of Filipino artists, creators, and performers representing the ULT POWER SOUND brand.

Bambu Lab has opened its first Authorized Store in the Philippines at SM Megamall, giving Filipino consumers a dedicated space to explore desktop 3D printing.
Uni3DLab, one of Bambu Lab’s authorized distributors in the Philippines, operates the new store on the fourth floor of Cyberzone, Building B, SM Megamall.

See 3D printing in action
The store features live product demonstrations that show how Bambu Lab printers turn digital models into physical objects.
Visitors can watch the printing process and get a closer look at the workflow behind desktop 3D printing. They can also examine finished creations that demonstrate different applications for the technology.
Customers can compare print sizes, machine formats, materials, and potential use cases before choosing a setup.
The store also gives visitors access to Bambu Lab’s broader ecosystem, including compatible filaments, accessories, and MakerWorld.
MakerWorld offers a library of printable 3D models and community-created projects. Users can browse designs and start printing without creating their own models from scratch.
