Chinese company vivo has a new smartphone lineup in town! Penetrating the midrange segment, vivo introduces the V20 series with three offerings: V20, V20 SE, and V20 Pro.
However, the spotlight always shines on the youngest sibling and the top-of-the-line among the lineup. The V20 — just like any other middle child — doesn’t get enough attention.
In this unboxing, we showcase what the V20 has to offer.
The vivo V20 comes in a reflective box shining a V-shaped light across the surface, beaming in a beautiful and striking blue.
Opening the box, you’ll get the usual set of accessories included. There’s a white earpiece and a Type-C to Type-A USB cable.
Of course, it comes with a free power adapter, unlike you-know-who. Other than that, there’s a manual, a SIM ejector pin, and a protective case for this beaut. Moreover, vivo pre-applied a protective film to the V20.
The beautiful, middle child in its mesmerizing color
The vivo V20 comes in a delightful, Sunset Melody colorway. Its glass body looks flawlessly enchanting, with a fascinating gradient shift varying through certain lights and angles. Somehow, it’s reminiscent of the gradient glass era evident in smartphones for the past two years.
Although, vivo managed to keep it on-brand and polished a matte-like approach to avoid reflection. What it wasn’t able to prevent though, is the smudges you will give this beaut.
On the other hand, the camera bump looks like the rectangular camera set-up from the vivo X50. It houses a triple camera system: a main 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 sensor, an 8-megapixel multi-function camera for your wide-angle, macro, and bokeh shots, and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens.
On the front, the V20 prides itself on a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with 2400×1080 FHD+ resolution. There’s a small waterdrop notch housing its 44-megapixel front camera.
Of course, it runs on FunTouch OS 11 based on Android 11. It’s also powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G, and an adequate configuration: 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Additionally, it’s equipped with a 4000mAh battery capable of up to 33W fast charging.
There are a lot of things to explore for the V20. But like any midrange smartphones in the market right now — it’s worth exploring.
The vivo V20 retails for PhP 19,999. It will be available in vivo’s official stores and authorized retailers.

Meet the newest moto razr+ — or moto razr 40 ultra globally. It has all the flagship-grade hardware in a thin and compact form.
But its biggest upgrade has got to be its new full-on cover screen — and it might just be the best one yet!
Can’t wait to see how the new razr looks and feels?
Here’s our hands-on with the new moto razr+.
If you haven’t kept track of the record, motorola released two razr flip phones globally. Those are the motorola razr back in 2019, and the motorola razr 5G in 2020.
motorola (or Lenovo) then skipped the year 2021 and brought us the motorola razr 2022 — only to be sold exclusively to China.
Fast track to 2023, motorola is coming back with a whole new flip phone for the international markets! Say hello to the 2023 motorola razr family

motorola refuses to lose its foothold in the flip phones department. Doubling down on their fashion-meets-function blend, the company announces the 2023 motorola razr family, consisting of the razr+ and the razr.
In other markets the razr+ will be called razr 40 ultra, while the razr will be called razr 40. For brevity, we’ll stick to razr+ and razr. The two are flip phones with differences that are immediately noticeable, and others that are under the hood.
motorola razr+
Many raved about the external display of the OPPO Find N2 Flip because it is much larger than the one on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4. motorola appears to have been monitoring the conversations as it equipping the razr+ with a 3.6” pOLED external display. And it’s not just big. You can do more with it.
Panels
Custom panels allow users to prioritize what matters most. Swipe left or right to easily access games, Google News, weather, contacts, Spotify, and view notifications at a glance. There’s also an Apps panel gives you access to apps like Google Maps or Google Wallet.
Customization
Users can choose from a variety of live wallpaper designs and a range of Moto clock styles. Customize and arrange the panels on their Home screen, dragging and dropping so they’re arranged to fit the needs of every razr user.
Game
There are Motorola and GameSnacks that work perfectly on the external display. Play through mysterious lands in Golf Adventures, help a feline friend escape to freedom in Tiger Run, or find your way to the finish in Marble Mayhem.
Dedicated Spotify Panel
Spotify users can control playback from the device’s external display. Without unfolding the device, users can tap to continue listening where they left off or start playing something brand new.
Content buddy
Many have opted to go the Flip phone route because of it’s natural ability to be your solo-content-creator-tool. The motorola razr+ takes things up a notch with its 12MP, f/1.5 aperture main camera sensor using Instant Dual Pixel PDAF. It’s faster and more accurately captures the scene in any lighting condition.
There’s also a 13MP ultrawide + macrovision lens to give you versatility in the things you can capture. Lastly, there’s a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
Flagship-grade specs
The motorola razr+ is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Not quite the latest Snapdragon chip, but it is absolutely no slouch in performance and power efficiency. It’s accompanied by 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
When fully opened, you’re greeted by the 6.9-inch FHD+ pOLED display with up to 165Hz refresh rate. It also supports HDR10+ and has up to 360Hz touch sampling rate when in game mode.
motorola razr
The base motorola razr doesn’t share the same massive external display. But it is still every bit the Flip phone that its ‘plus’ sibling is.
The 1.5-inch OLED external display is capable of Quick Capture, Gesture Capture, Auto Smile Capture, and more features for self-capturing. Unfolded, it’s also a 6.9-inch smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. It also has 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.
