We recently detailed the release dates for the new 3310 in four different countries, and while we were expecting those nations to get the revived Nokia classic first, India cut the line for an earlier release. It’s cheaper than expected, too!

That’s right: Nokia fans in India can purchase the 2017 version of the 3310 beginning today, May 18. While sources didn’t state where exactly you may buy a unit, it’s said to be available in authorized physical outlets.

Even better, each of the four available colors will retail for only INR 3,310 (coincidence?) or around $50. That’s significantly lower than the EUR 60 (about $65) price tag for the European version.

And so, the question remains: When will the rest of Asia get a hold of the updated 3310? With no official statement from Nokia till now, all we can do is keep our eyes and ears peeled.
