Life gets unpredictable lately — weather included. When it’s hot and cold, it’s best to have a wardrobe that’s versatile to keep up with all the changes.

UNIQLO’s LifeWear has been at the forefront of being everyone’s everyday companion. For every type of situation, you can find pieces in UNIQLO’s latest AIRism, Dry-EX, and UV Protection collections.

The quick-drying technology, garment features, and innovations are all embedded in LifeWear to make your everyday life comfortable.

What winners wear

To make the showcase interesting, UNIQLO held a Pop-up event at Bonifacio High Street Central. SEA Games Gold Medalists Agatha Wong, Sakura Alforte, and Ronil Tubog graced the launch.

Women’s Individual Kata, Karate SEA Games Gold Medalist Sakura Alforte shares how her AIRism Cotton Shirt is her staple piece in her training bag, “I use it mostly during training because it feels fresh and comfortable no matter how hard and long training days are.”

For Wushu SEA Games Gold Medalist Agatha Wong, the UV Protection Pocketable Parka adds protection especially for outdoor training, “Preparing for a tournament demands long hours of training. It requires flexibility when training in different locations, may it be indoor or outdoor.”

On another note, Men’s Wrestling SEA Games Gold Medalist Ronil Tubog believes that strength training plays a significant role in a wrestler’s overall training plan. Training alone produces massive sweat as it requires tedious core workouts and flexibility. “It is important to me that I wear functional clothes that meet my needs. My go-to is the DRY-EX shirt and jogger pants that don’t let me down,” he shares.

Literally ~everyone’s~ everyday companion

It’s not just athletes and champions benefitting from the versatility of UNIQLO’s new collections. Traveler Cha Ocampo, Chef Josh Boutwood, and even Actor, Model, and Cyclist Ezra Domingo shared their experiences on wearing LifeWear.

“These pieces embody the perfect blend of comfort and versatility, making them suitable for both casual wear and various activities. As someone who is active and constantly on the go, these are staples in my wardrobe. I love that it’s so easy to mix and match all the pieces. If you’re seeking comfort and adaptable clothing, UNIQLO’s AIRism, Dry-EX, UV Protection, and Outerwear pieces are must-haves,” traveler and ocean advocate Cha Ocampo shares.

Chef Josh Boutwood shares that AIRism for him is a fit that he could wear all time because of its breathability technology to the country’s climate. “It is relaxed, casual, and it is an all-day type of wear. Aside from the fact that it is timeless and classic, it can be easily paired with anything, including my uniforms,” he says.

Actor, Model, and Cyclist Ezra Domingo’s go-to for his running and cycling activities are from the UNIQLO DRY-EX collection, especially the DRY-EX UV Protection Hoodie. He shares, “It is very helpful in giving me confidence in the sun without compromising my performance. Also, a bonus that its style can be easily paired with anything!”

Apple Fifth Avenue or Nelson Road? New Yorkers gathered at the iconic flagship store as it transformed into a slice of AFC Richmond for a Ted Lasso lookalike contest celebrating the return of the hit Apple TV+ series.

Dozens of fans arrived in Ted’s signature look, complete with mustaches, visors, blue sweaters, and khakis. Inside the store, the AFC Richmond takeover continued with themed photo opportunities and hidden Easter eggs for longtime fans to discover.

The celebration continued across Midtown and Central Park, where brand ambassadors spread kindness with “Believe” signs, complimentary coffee and tea, a tunnel of cheering Teds for runners, and the Goldfish Zone, where visitors symbolically let go of worries by dropping paper fish into a fishbowl.

Westminster Abbey isn’t just another stop on the London tourist trail.

It’s the stage for coronations, royal weddings, and burials that span nearly a thousand years, all still playing out under the same vaulted ceilings that have been standing since before most countries had names.

Once you get past the crowds and the audio guides, a quieter version of the abbey starts to show itself: worn stone steps, poets resting a few feet from kings, light that shifts across the nave like it’s in on the performance too.

While losing track of time in Poets’ Corner (yes, me, playing amateur historian for an afternoon), I unfolded the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra and decided the abbey deserved more than a quick tourist snap.

All photos captured using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra.
