We had the privilege of trying the 900VA (480W) variant. For the most part, we plugged it with a Television, Sound Bar, and Gaming Console and it worked exactly as intended.

We tried to simulate surge spikes and the Eaton 5A UPS worked as intended. It kept the appliances turned on long enough that they would go to sleep mode on their own and prevent damage.

This was especially helpful for the gaming console which he liked leaving on Rest Mode. This allowed us to use its cloud gaming features even while we’re away on an event or even during an out-of-the-country coverage. With the Eaton 5A UPS, we had little worry that the console would sustain any damage from sudden power outages or other unforeseen situations.

That’s primarily what a UPS offers – peace of mind that the electronics you spent your hard-earned cash on won’t suffer any untoward damages from voltage spikes.
