OnePlus announces huge discounts for OnePlus 8, 8 Pro

A lot of holiday shoppers are looking forward to the next two weeks. As with every year, Black Friday and Cyber Monday will feature 2021’s greatest deals and discounts — albeit online. OnePlus, one of the year’s flagship makers, has announced its deals for the sales extravaganza. For Black Friday and Cyber Monday, OnePlus announces huge discounts for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

From November 18 to 30, OnePlus is slashing US$ 100 off from both flagships. Both smartphones are available online. The OnePlus will start at US$ 599 (instead of the standard US$ 699). Meanwhile, the OnePlus 8 Pro will start at US$ 799 (instead of the standard US$ 899).

The OnePlus 8 features a 6.5-inch Fluid AMOLED screen and a 90Hz refresh rate. For hardware, the smartphone sports Snapdragon 865 processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage. It comes with a triple rear camera combination: a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 lens, a 16-megapixel wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It also has a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. Powering the smartphone, the OnePlus 8 ships with a 4300mAh battery.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a larger 6.8-inch Fluid AMOLED screen and 120Hz refresh rate. Though it has the same processor and memory, the smartphone has a quad rear camera setup: a 48-megapixel Sony IMX689 lens, a 48-megapixel wide lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 5-megapixel color filter. It also comes with a larger 4500mAh battery.

Besides the two main flagships, the OnePlus 8 series also comes in a much more premium OnePlus 8T variant. At the time of this writing, OnePlus is holding an online treasure hunt for the premium smartphone.
