Razer officially launches AI Center of Excellence in Singapore
Part of a broader plan to have interconnected hubs globally
Razer has officially launched its AI Center of Excellence in Singapore, the first phase of its global AI expansion strategy. The center is backed by Digital Industry Singapore, a collaboration among the EDB, EnterpriseSG, and IMDA.
The facility will focus on developing AI-powered gaming technologies to improve production, boost player engagement, and enhance game quality worldwide. It is positioned to become one of Singapore’s largest and most advanced AI gaming hubs.
Razer plans to hire 150 local AI specialists in engineering, data science, and game development. The brand will use a skills-first, high-engagement hiring process.
The initiative also aligns with Singapore’s national vision to lead digital transformation and AI growth.
The Singapore hub is just the first of three hubs Razer is planning as part of a broader strategy to have interconnected AI hubs.
Flagship AI gaming technologies, global collaboration
The physical facility in Singapore sets the foundation for future centers in Europe and the United States. These AI centers are planned to drive innovation in gaming and developer tools across the world.
The European hub will spearhead WYVRN, Razer’s developer platform. It offers tools like AI Game Tools, Sensa HD Haptics, Chroma RGB, and THX Spatial.
Through a single SDK, developers can access all proprietary technologies to enable the creation of more immersive and responsive gaming experiences.
Razer’s strategic expansion coincides with rapid growth in gaming. The industry is expected to reach US$ 400 billion by 2033. AI gaming alone is projected to grow to US$ 28 billion, with an annual increase of 28.4%.
Sony has officially expanded its professional audio lineup with the debut of the Sony IER-M500 in-ear monitors.
These new stage-ready monitors target a specific niche of live performers — they’re built for amateur musicians, emerging artists, and professional monitor engineers.
The launch fills a critical gap in Sony’s professional audio ecosystem.
Currently, the company covers recording with its microphones and mixing with headphones like the MDR-M1. Now, Sony supports live stage monitoring with this new affordable option.
The Sony IER-M500 will be available in Singapore by August for SG$ 139. Available colors are Red, White, and Black.
Stage-tuned audio designed by experts
Sony engineered the IER-M500 monitors to handle the harsh, loud environments of live concerts.
The company collaborated closely with top industry professionals during development. This includes veteran tour monitor engineer Noel Edwards.
Edwards noted that the sound quality of the universal-fit IER-M500 comes incredibly close to expensive custom-molded monitors.
The monitors feature a fully sealed internal structure. This design isolates your ears by blocking out loud stage noise.
Consequently, the high passive isolation protects your hearing during long sets. Inside, a dynamic driver pairs with a large acoustic chamber.
This combination produces deep, controlled bass frequencies. At the same time, the optimized internal layout refines high-frequency reproduction.
The system is also fully high-resolution audio compatible. Artists can easily hear every cue, harmony, and subtle detail on stage.
Secure fit, durable build
Comfort is highly critical during extended live performances. Sony addresses this by using original fitting supporters alongside flexible ear hangers and clips.
These additions ensure the monitors stay locked in place while you move. The package includes four sizes of noise-isolating earpieces.
These earpieces utilize a thin polyurethane wall to maximize seal and wearability.
Furthermore, the design easily stands up to the physical demands of touring. The housing resists moisture, splashes, and sweat.
Performers can move freely without worrying about water damage. The monitors also feature a detachable 1.6-meter cable. This cable is thick and durable, built specifically to handle frequent plugging and unplugging.

UGREEN is expanding its smart travel lineup with the launch of the new FineTrack Series, a collection of compact trackers designed to help users keep tabs on everyday essentials.
Leading the announcement are the FineTrack 2 and FineTrack Mini 2, both of which support Apple’s Find My network for easy location tracking through compatible Apple devices. The trackers are built for travelers and commuters who want an extra layer of security for items such as keys, bags, wallets, and passports.
The FineTrack 2 comes in a soccer-inspired design created to celebrate the upcoming 2026 World Cup, while the FineTrack Mini 2 adopts a slimmer tag-style form factor that fits more easily inside wallets and passport holders.
