Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G now available for pre-order

Starting today, the unlocked model of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G is available for pre-order on Samsung.com. It sports the latest highend chipset from Qualcomm, Snapdragon 865 Plus, a 5G-compatible chipset.

The device is a follow up to Samsung’s second foldable phone launched in February, the Galaxy Z Flip, which sports an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and lacks 5G connectivity.

The new foldable variant retails for US$ 1,499.99. Customers who trade in a Samsung device through Samsung.com can get up to US$ 650 off a Galaxy Z Flip 5G purchase for a limited time.

Pre-orders are until August 6th, and on August 7th, the Galaxy Z Flip will be available in carrier and unlocked by Samsung versions online through AT&T, Best Buy, Samsung.com, T-Mobile and Amazon.com.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5G is available in a new textured haze finish and two new colors: Mystic Gray and Mystic Bronze.

Apart from updated hardware, the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is also getting new software features including an improved Flex Mode and Multitasking.

Notably, this is the first Galaxy device equipped with the new processor from Qualcomm. Launching on August 5th, Galaxy Note 20 series is also expected to have the same processor.
